Group by date
Please Please Please - I appreciate that we can use the sorting feature to have the newest at the top or prioirty etc. BUT i still would like the ability to group by date: last week, last month, last year etc.

Make "Return to Basic Mail" available on ALL accounts
The 'NEW" Yahoo Mail suddenly appeared on my account. I hate it!! There is no way to return to Basic Mail. Make the return to Basic Mail option available on ALL accounts!! PLEASE!!!
Unfortunately, there is no reverting back. Very sorry! We are only enhancing the new experience. We hope you give the new layout a fair chance. Thanks so much!

This is awful, unhelpful, and distracting
The new Mail Plus is overly busy and confusing to me. GIVE ME BACK THE ORIGINAL CLASSIC FORMAT NOW. I DID NOT ASK FOR THE CHANGE. AS WELL, THE PRICE INCREASE FOR AD-FREE SERVICE IS WAY OUT OF LINE. FEELS LIKE EXTORTION.

Restore Functionality
Not only is the new format ugly, it is clumsy, and it adds new defects.

I need the option for switch back to basic mail, old laptop, slow connection
Yahoo switched my email to the new version 1 week ago. I keep trying to use it but my computer is old, 2009, and it doesn’t support this new version. It keeps freezing and I keep clearing cache, closing and reopening my email and restarting my computer. It doesn’t matter what I do or which browser I use, it doesn’t work like it was with basic mail. I don’t have the option under setting to switch back. I am old and cannot purchase another computer, I just need yahoo to give me the option to switch back to basic mail…

Very sorry, but we currently have no plans in changing our ad placements. If the placements and ads in general bother you, we do offer an ad-free experience if you upgrade to Yahoo Mail Plus, but of course it's not mandatory. Thanks.

When I click reply, I can't tell where to start typing because the wall of text has no visual indicators. Bring back the collapse/expand button. Best option I recommend is just bringing back the old version. As a user for over 17 years, I hope you'll take this feedback seriously

Your new Yahoo mail version is not substandard, but you forced it on me. I absolutely hate it! I am definitely migrating to another email company/website.

get rid of the endless scrolling, the page numbers were better and easier to find your stuff. . Go back to the old layout. The new one is horrible. Whoever thought of this is very very wrong, dumb idea. even worse to shove it on people who don't want it.

user control of updates
I want to use the same version of mail - without updates. Users should be allowed to return to the original version - accounts should not be hijacked for updates.

Appearance settings: LEAVE IT ALONE
I have no idea who thought it was a great idea to force stupidity down my throat. The former appearance of my mail settings was fine and pleasant to look at. NOT this STUPID choice between Goth and blinding white light!! I noticed I can't go back to sanity either since you removed the ability to do so. This is how hatred starts and people slide to gmail because you seem to think everyone has drank the koolaid.
I am completely and utterly disgusted that I have to look at this trash from now on-

Why your company never ask us who really use your product about what we like and what we do not like.
The current appearance is awful and I would like to have a choice which version I want to use. I really hate what I see now, it is hard to use. I would like to use previous or a version before you made this one.
