WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

    Please Please Please - I appreciate that we can use the sorting feature to have the newest at the top or prioirty etc. BUT i still would like the ability to group by date: last week, last month, last year etc.

  4. Please highlight the unread mails with different color text.

    Its very difficult to differentiate between read & un raed mails, make the un read in different color text.

    Hi Victoria, we currently have no plans in moving Settings. Data shows our Community rarely go to Settings. Perhaps once in awhile or when there's a new design. Since it's barely used, we currently have no plans in moving it. Hope that makes sense. Thanks!

    need to be able to change default font and font size. Old yahoo was better and easier to read

  9. Background Text and Emojis

    Please bring back bold text and other personalizations. These are basic text needs and should not have disappeared also backgrounds to help remember which account I am in and to help brighten the day, other providers have these and more options. I will consider leaving if no changes are made.

  11. NEW DESIGN IS AWFUL - pls return the old design!!!!!!!! PLEEEAAAAASSSSSEEEE

    This is terrible, you shouldn't have lied about trying out the new experience. I wouldn't have tried if I knew you would do a bait and switch. What happened to trust? I've tried new versions before with an open mind, b/c you let me go back. But THIS?! Ridiculous! The new design is TERRIBLE AWFUL HORRIBLE UGLY HORRENDOUS!!!!

  15. I need help to get back the old outfit

    Ads and general outlook:
    Please help me, how can I get back to the previous "old" version of my Yahoo? I cannot coope with this new one I have from 2 days. Please offer me solution. And yes, please offer me the choice to accept or not whenever a new version would start. Thank you

  17. Too Many Features

    I would like to revert to the old Yahoo Mail...the new version is not user friendly. Too many messages are sent to Trash without my consent. Terrible.

  19. Slightly Greyed out Read emails

    I don't think it is enough to have unread emails with bolded text and read email normal. On desktop at least, there should be more contrast at a glance between read and unread emails. Make the whole line greyed out for emails that have been opened and read, even if it's slightly so. Just like with previous versions of yahoo, like other email services do in their UI.
