Group by date
Please Please Please - I appreciate that we can use the sorting feature to have the newest at the top or prioirty etc. BUT i still would like the ability to group by date: last week, last month, last year etc.

Change "New Message" to "Compose Message".
I think we can all agree the new Yahoo is a failure. The change was simply made for the developers to justify their job.Since the old Yahoo was fine, any changes they made just made it worse. One example is the "New Message" icon. I keep thinking it is something to click on to check for new messages. Change it to "Compose Message" or "Compose Email". Dumb.
Very sorry you feel this way! We do hope you give the new layout a fair chance. It wasn't changed just for the heck of it. Life evolves, habits change and things do change. So we made this better. We currently have no plans in changing the New Message. Have a great day!

Bring back where I can open a preview of an email attachment without having to open it
I used to be able to click a preview of an email and it would keep open the original email and the preview at the same time and I can't do that anymore. I very much for the job I do would like that back

Add "Block sender" to the SPAM folder
Dear Yahoo Design Team,
It was a clever and useful feature to have the option "Add sender to blocked list" directly in the menu, especially for spam or unauthorized senders (phishing).
Why was it removed? Could you please re-add it in the new design?
Currently, we need to copy the sender's email address, go to 'More' ->Security and Privacy, and then manually add the address, a much less convenient workaround.It would be highly appreciated if you could set it back.

Sidebar not showing the number of unread emails in Spam folder
The sidebar is not showing the number of unread emails in Spam folder. This needs to be visualized for users. It works in my Android app but not in Firefox browser on my Mac. I have logged out and deleted cookies, no change.

It's simple, stop with these 'tips' that are pointing out new features or changed looks. I don't care! Stop interrupting my work flow to tell me you slightly changed the GUI! It's annoying and pointless.

Bring back the option to block senders from the Spam folder
The option to block users and delete a block of emails from the spam folder was always an option until about a week ago. I am below the limit of 1,000 blocked users and I want to know why I am no longer seeing this options/??????????

Can you make the email list easier to read?
When I open my email, I want to be able to quickly scan my eyes down the list and see what I received. Instead, I'm inundated with a bright purple dot to the left, a round symbol for the company name that flickers, and too much white space. Get rid of the junk and please make it simple again. I beg you!

Block Sender within Spam Folder
I want to be able to Block Sender within the Spam folder. I was able to do this and now I cannot. I can Block Sender in ANY other folder. Why, oh why would you change this????

Why change at all?
To whom it may concern.
You’ve got a perfectly fine email system: inbox, outbox, sent mail, spam, user categories, trash. Why change? What are you trying to accomplish? Please explain.
The USPS is a failed system. So was AOL. Will Yahoo Mail follow the same path? More junk? More filtering by the consumer?
Keep It Simple (KIS). Save your money on your Yahoo! (Y!) revamp It works now.

Make it easier to group inbox/folder by sender. You had this feature for years. It makes it much easier to mass delete and reduce clutter when you don't have time to keep up daily. I do not understand above/following method:
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name".Do the same for sends.

Inability to edit description and name / description on 2 yahoo mail account
Four of my email accounts work fine. Two of them cannot be edited in "Mailbox" on the settings list. My idea would be to fix this issue. I have tried removing and re-adding them but that didn't work.

BORING !!
This is NEW ? So BORING !! Almost puts me to sleep when I open my mail now,, and no way to go back to the old version. I guess the IT designers need to justify their existence but what the **** ,, so vanilla

Nothing I like it the way it is now
I for one did not ask for a new design or a new look.And i sure hope you will have an option to go back to the classic style.
Unfortunately, there is no reverting back. Very sorry! We are only enhancing the new experience. We hope you give the new layout a fair chance. Thanks so much!

Mail problems
Please make my account go back to Yahoo Basic Mail view. I did not ask for my account to change and it did in the middle of me simply reading emails. I cannot view or read them as clearly in the new view and it is very confusing and off putting to the eye.

Trial Period and Option to continue with the existing Yahoo Mail.
I use Yahoo because I really dislike using GMail. When you first introduced a new Yahoo Mail version, it seemed much too similar to GMail for my liking and I opted to stay with the old version, which suits my needs perfectly. Please retain the option to continue to do so. Thank you.
Sorry Alison, there will be no reverting back this time. We are only making the new one better. We recommend you look at the settings as you can disable and customize things to your liking. Thanks.

Wrong Idea
New Yahoo Mail should not be forced. It should be a choice. I do not like the new look. I prefer top keep the Basic Yahoo Mail update from that, not give a whole new look.
Please, give me back the Basic or give an option button for users to choice between.
