New email indication
Another issue I have spotted. Indication of new mail in other folders or the inbox is not as robust as the prior application design. After going to my spam folder and leaving that folder open in anticipation of viewing incoming spam for a few days, new mail landing in other folders have no indicators or numbers. This used to be a blue dot beside the folders in the older design ...
I do not know about large sidebar but on the icon only sidebar, if I am in my spam folder for a day or two and a few new…

Dark mode feedback
Dark mode color for read vs unread emails is really confusing and most of the time they have the same background color. Black color for the overall background also does not look good at all.

Unnecessary space
Hi, thanks for your progress with Yahoo Mail, Great! However, there is too much space above the mail list, much empty space that makes no sense.

Have more customisation options for message layout and bring more theme colours
First, I love the new modernised look, hats off to that. I just feel like I am bombarded with information on the home page. I want an option to remove the starred messages and contacts tab. Or add more options for that tab. Secondly, I like that you had an option for theme colours on the mobile version, and I think you can definitely do that for the web version as well. That's all from me, have a lovely day.

Compact view of emails
I previously commented that the grey background for "read emails" was distracting and unnecessary. Gmail does the same thing, but I have never noticed. The reason for this is that I have it set on "compact" display so the line for each email is narrower. Please allow the user to set a compact view.

Allow us to customize the main page it is not intuitive at all
We need you to bring back original Yahoo Interface, this doesn't work well and it's very painful to navigate. Specifically, the fonts are too thick, almost bold and thus makes interface very clumsy. We should be able to customize the fonts etc.. on the main page to make this workable.

The old version of display was far better as easily recognizable unread email and also colorful view

Leave it alone
Today everything is white instead of the dark theme I set up. WTF?

I need to be able to have more flexibilty in the appearance
The new inbox setup is not very flexible and it looks like it was put together for children.
I prefer the prvious version and would like to go back to it.
I do.t like the grey highlighting on the read emails ot the fact that I can't adjust the folder column of the inbox page,
The old version looked and felt much more professional. -

Feedback
Why is the GIVE FEEDBACK nothing more than a new idea. FEEDBACK to me you would want to know what's good and not so good. Fix the wording and quit misleading me and the rest of the users.

Email exceeds viewing area so scroll right or left required. Need to update viewing software to include all text in viewing area without scrolling.

Settings
Wellll, so far not a fan. Is there a way to change the gray highlight behind each email in the inbox? Didn't see any option in settings. Things like this is the reason I stopped using Gmail after they insisted on their latest changes which imo completely ruined the interface and made it too hard to look at on my PC. Yahoo was the only last and best option. I loved the old interface but for some reason companies feel they have to change, possibly because engineers need to justify their existence or just need something to do, don't know,…

Improvement suggestions to reduce the terrible update to layout.
Can you make the headers on Yahoo Mail smaller? The top of the web page takes up half the screen and the area for email is so reduced that it is difficult to read. I may still go back to the old format if that is an option as the update is so bad. The search bar, display option bar and Reply / Forward bar all are so deep that they take up half the laptop screen. I can't find a way to change this in layout.
Where did the star / unstar option go from the email selection column?…

Inbox spacing
Basic mail has 3 choices for inbox spacing. Small lets you see many more emails in a browser window. This new mail shows too few, with no option to change (that I can find, anyway).

Small UI oddities and tweaks
- Each popover should have an arrow pointing to the button that opened it. This is particularly helpful for the folder context menus.
- The "more on Yahoo" popover could use some icons.
- In the light theme, the search placeholder text becomes more contrastive when the search bar is focused. This is kind of backwards. Also ensure the two themes are consistent with each other here.
The rest of these concern issues with the dark theme specifically:
4. This might be the most important: The automatic dark theme application to emails needs a lot of work, even just in simple ways. Pure…
