Where are the different mailbox options?
Bring back the yahoo mail version where you could change the theme colors, all my mailboxes that were connected could be viewed all at the same time, and I could put my customized signature attachment. Basic is terrible and so was "New" yahoo. Bring back the previous versions

New experience desperately needs more customizability
The new experience is still as unpleasant and unappealing as the first time I tried it, leading me to stick to the older basic mail version until forced into the new experience - and I still have two major issues with it.
My biggest issue is the right-hand panel (containing calendar, starred, and contacts), this panel is unhelpful to me and only serves to clutter the browser window, can there please be an option to disable it?
The general appearance of the new experience (the unappealing smoothness) only serves to make the new experience less compact than the previous basic…

Return the themes you had before!
Where are the themes you used to have? I can't stand this new look. The only options are light or dark and no way to go back to the old Yahoo Mail.

Light mode does not work – inbox remains dark
Light mode does not work in New Yahoo Mail
Since my account was forced to switch to the New Yahoo Mail, the mailbox remains in Dark Mode even when I select Settings → Appearance → Light.
The Settings panel itself correctly changes between Light and Dark, but when I return to the mailbox/inbox, the mailbox remains black.
I have tested this on two completely different computers:
- Mac with Safari — Yahoo Mail remains dark even when macOS Appearance is set to Light.
- Windows PC with a light system theme — Yahoo Mail also remains dark.

stuck tooltips
Hi the Mail Plus web client has but where pop-up tooltips do not disappear and remain "stuck" on the screen.
When I mouse over folders in the left column, sometimes the tooltip doesn't disappear so I have leftover tips on my screen.I captured a screenshot showing the stuck tooltips:

Page Editing
Make it so I can Make My e-mail Box bigger IF you make it any Smaller I will have no Other choice but to find a New e-mail I can't even see the whole messages NOW. I have to scroll left and right and up and down. Making the WHOLE thing Smaller is not be acceptable. There IS alot of Empty space all around the page and the ads take up 1/4 the page. IF I CANT READ THE E-MAILS WHY EVEN HAVE IT.

Give the option to go back to old layout or add a compact option
The new email layout is so bad, I'm seriously considering shutting down my yahoo account and going back to gmail. I hate how much wasted space there is, how I can only see five emails at a time, how the empty column on the right can't be removed (and I'm not going to use it for my calendar or anything else. It looks like an inbox designed for a 5-year-old or a 100-year-old. I like to be able to see many emails in the inbox at one time as well as have the preview pane. This is truly the worse…

give the emails definition don't drown the main goal in all white
The emails are not defined like they were on the old yahoo. All the emails backgrounds are white. There is a wash in the whole screen now and not defined with lines and/or color. It is all washed in white and very hard to get used to in able to see what you have read or not read. Also, the dots or email circles in front/left of the emails are too distracting. Then, to congratulate me for deleting messages or filing them is overly childish. I don't like that either. Some of these new things are unnecessary. I want a…

Go back to the classic view as a theme.
That, or quit ******* with what we get used to so we don't have to learn our way around the damned thing every time some new ******* gets a wild hair up their *** about how to make it look like another program! Maybe just leave **** alone, you are not a store that wants me to wonder the lanes looking for something that belongs on lane 17 and maybe I will buy something else. Much wider selection of Themes needed
"Plus" mail (which I am paying for) should include a wide selection of available themes, including artwork, nature, etc. Regular Yahoo Mail used to offer something similar, yet today Premium mail doesn't.

New viewing format is terrible
The new viewing format looks terrible. I cannot distinguish between the read and unread messages. They all look the same. The boldness of the fonts is not different from the non-bold ones. Everything looks like they are all blended together. Hard to tell between AD or real message. I like the previous format better.

get rid of obscene sexual emails- spam
how do we keep sexually explicit emails from coming through? blocking does nothing and I don't know how all these sites got my email since I have never gone to a pornographic site. I have tried blocking hundreds of them and put them in trash, but I think that just made 10 times more come in. I am ready to dump yahoo mail since they are disgusting and obscene emails.

Go back to the old background themes
The light background is too bright, the dark is too dark, and one can't tell the difference between read and unread email. The subtle difference in font size using only white font is not suitable.
Change the colours of the read email at least. -

Where has the customisable theme or colours gone. The two offered and not fit for purpose. The dark is way to dark (black) and light is too bland and lacks contrast.

Do NOT change settings
I am a tech guy in cybersecurity and so this is not coming from someone who is unfamiliar with how change management of software updates work.
Your latest update CHANGED my personal settings to CONVERSATION for email linking. I HATE that setting and yet your update to my yahoo email account (.att address) changed it without my permission.
My "Idea" is that you leave PERSONAL SETTINGS ALONE when you make UI/design updates to the web portal.
Your "enhancements" led me to accidentally delete an ENTIRE EMAIL threads (which is why I have ALWAYS DISABLED the 'conversation' setting) as a result…

Feedback for new design
I would like to suggest a feature enhancement for Yahoo Mail. It would be great to have the ability to change the Message Layout—specifically the section where the email content is displayed—between light and dark modes, independent of the overall dark mode setting.
Currently, I find myself switching back to the classic mode to access this functionality, as it allows me to adjust the message display more comfortably. Having this option in the newer interface would greatly improve the user experience and flexibility.
