bring back themes!
it sucks that you can only have light or dark or device themes in the new email. i can't even get themes back if i go to the old email. bring that back, please.

No option to change colours or to change anything about mail settings anymore? (ie make more compact, change background colour). why is it so basic now....

I want to change colors/theme on my mail
I am really disappointed I can't do more than change light/dark. I was trying to turn off AI stuff, and somehow got switched to the "new yahoo mail" with no option to turn off shading for my read mail and no option to change colors. the Basic Mail isn't any better. what gives?
Yes, we have simplified the colors on all our platforms as most of our users defaulted to the regular. So to keep maintenance down, decrease the size of our apps, we have decided to simplify our themes. Thanks for understanding!

Bring back the option to change colors
Bring back the option to select the background colors. The white and purple is so boring! And Dark mode isn't any better!

New Yahoo Mail Issues.
The preview area has shrunk massively ... This is a shot in the foot and makes an otherwise nice interface look lame and broken. Themes, we could change color on previous mailboxes to help distinguish which account is active. Now there is only a light and dark mode, why not colors back.

Provide New "Appearance" Colors
Dear Yahoo,
Can you please add new Appearance choices for Color? There is currently a Light (White) or Dark (Black) option. It would be nice if you could allow Users to select from more Color options to make using this E-mail application visually pleasing, interesting, and friendly. I would appreciate your assistance and attention to this matter.

When will you bring back the ability to choose colors for our Mail?
Very sorry! We have no plans in bringing back more themes or custom backgrounds. This was bulking our site and not being used. Very low usage, there we have no plans in bringing this back. Thanks for your feedback!

Please return winter scenes to "seasonal". Not there now. PaperlessPost says this is your area not theirs.

All white or all black!!! 😨
All that white is killing me! So is the dark black. Please give us a choice to insert an image in the background. Or give us some themes. That will also help making Yahoo mail more personalized. Thanx.

COLOR - GIVE US BACK OUR COLOR
The White is too blinding and the Black is too dark and depressing. What made you think that dropping all color or theme options was a good idea? Do you want your brand to disappear because we will all abandon you for Google? I don't want to do that - I WANT COLORSSS.

I like the new yahoo mail, but wish I could customize the background/theme of my mail. Also how my mail is organized and viewed.

I’d like to have other options besides a page fully white or fully black. Other colors and gradations of those colors would be easier on the eyes and more pleasant for those who have preferences. If there is a way to do that now, please tell me how, for I haven’t found it. Thank you.

I would like too see the background change to colors not just black. That's why I left your site way back when. Please change to black and color. Google has colored background .
