Reintroduce past customization options.
My inbox looks vastly different again, and unfortunately, much worse, again. Several years ago Yahoo had the best inbox customization tools and UI elements. Somehow mandatory UI changes have only made the inbox look simultaneously bloated and full of wasted space. I struggle to put into words just how ugly my inbox looks now. Please just revert to the way it was before.

Subject: Please Provide an Option to Switch Back to Old Yahoo Mail
I have been using Yahoo Mail for many years and recently received the new Yahoo Mail interface.
Unfortunately, I find the new layout difficult and less convenient to use.
I am much more comfortable with the previous/old Yahoo Mail interface.
I have checked the settings, but I do not have the option to switch back to the old version or Basic Mail.
Please consider providing a “Switch back to Old Yahoo Mail” option for my account.
It would be very helpful if users could choose between the new…

Please restore Classic Yahoo. I used to be able to see unread inbox messages at a glance, identify folders with unread emails right from the dashboard, and move messages into folders quickly.
The new layout removes all of those simple conveniences and is much more cumbersome. -
get rid of rounded edges, ai is dumb and wrong
some group there has no clue. Round edges are dumb.

BRING back switch to classic view
This view is just terrible. I need to link to switch back to Yahoo classic. I cancelled my membership for now until you bring it back. Just it too hard to read. This is not gmail so stop trying to make it look like it. Classic view is perfect.

default Yahoo Purple sucks. what happened to the color options from old Yahoo Mail?
Hi John, unfortunately we are keeping our themes simplified. We have no plans in adding more. Very sorry! Before we had a lot of themes and background, but they were never used. A huge majority of our community kept the default themes. Therefore, we decided not to support more. Hope you understand!

The new layout and color schemes make harder to navigate. Please bring back the classic yahoo mail.

The "NEW" Yahoo mail hurts my eyes. Please revert my email account back to the old email.

Custom colors and themes
I have literally been using Yahoo Mail for maybe 25 years, or perhaps even longer. And with just one move, you have stripped all the soul out of my inbox. I hate this soulless, plain white or black page. Why did you do this? You have all the resources to keep both versions available. I'm truly on the verge of losing all hope in Yahoo. Honestly. I don't complain any of the notification clutter of your website but... You shouldnt force your long-term, loyal users into this.

We decided to simplify our themes because more than 90% of our users kept the default, therefore with very low usage we decided not to support more themes and backgrounds. Thanks!

I want the old look to my email back because this is way too light in color so is hard to see.

Am I deludedly optimistic?
By some magical intervention, I seem to have been transported back to Yahoo mail. Not the basic one I wish to return to. Not the elegant, sophisticated, design classic. No, no. The one between that and the new cesspit of design both unfunctional and ugly. At least I've got one step back! I followed all the videos (and I've looked at hundreds) to return me from this state to the basic and none show me the way. Is there one? Am I deludedly optimistic?

We currently have no plans in adding more themes or backgrounds to the desktop. We had a lot of themes before and a majority of our community kept the default. Due to low usage and high upkeep we decided to keep Yahoo simplified. Thanks for understanding!
