Query unique senders and bulk delete or bulk save
To help with email deletions, it would be helpful to be able to query unique or similar email address. Such as show me everything sent by ebay. Then I can bulk protect them from deletion by putting them in a folder or mark them as protected from any deletion method. Or I could bulk delete everything from the sender. A user could enter a query such as sender like "progressive" and every version of sender with progressive in the name, case insensitive will appear on a list. Check a box next to them and then delete all emails…
Hi John, you definitely have more sorting options once you disable Conversation view. When you disable this, you will see Sort by Sender as an option. You can also search by sender by clicking on the Sender's Logo/Avatar from your Inbox. Thanks!

Don't automatically delete trash
Please stop auto deleting the trash inbox.
I recently started using Yahoo mail more and more. I deleted something I didn't realize i deleted. I went back to find an email and it was no where to be found. Checked trash and noticed all of my older emails were gone. I am guessing what I needed was in there. I didn't know emails were automatically deleted in the trash after 7 days.
EVEN if you wanted to keep that feature it should be a longer period of time. 7 days is not enough. Google gives you 30 days. I really…
Hi Anna, yes correct we do auto delete your Trash after 7 days. We've been doing this for awhile with no issues or any concerns from our Community. Reason we have no plans in changing this is because our our new Storage Limitations. Emails in trash and spam folders count in your Storage.
We recommend archiving your emails instead of deleting. Emails archived will always be in your Inbox. Hope this helps!

Delete all emails
I am unable to delete all my emails in my inbox. The system will allow you to click on all emails, yet will only delete 100, which is not helpful. The system will only allow more to be deleted if you actively review all of them, which is not helpful. What are my options to fully delete my inbox?

Renaming and deleting folders
Tried every way I could think of to change name of a folder or to delete it and add new one instead. When right clicking the folder please add "rename" and "delete" to the menu list of actions.
Hi Ruth, if you are trying to manage your folder or subfolders, it's not a right click, but instead hover on the right side of the folder and "..." (three dots) will appear. From there you can manage or even delete folders. Hope this helps!

Deleting Emails
Maybe if Yahoo did a better job of identifying and not allowing spam/junk emails, people, such as myself, would care more about deleting their emails. I went through months of deleting emails, reporting spam, unsubscribing, etc. That did NOTHING to reduce the amount of spam/junk emails I received. In fact, I seemed to get more spam and junk mail. I do not have several hours a week to delete emails. Even if I did, I would not want to spend those hours deleting emails.
Are these legit junk emails or newsletter/promotional type emails from stores, etc? Big difference. For legit spammy emails, please "mark as spam" instead of deleting. For other coupon/promotional type emails like from stores, unsubscribe, at one point (even if you don't remember) you subscribed to these emails. Hope this helps!

Remove or move the delet confirmation
When you select multiple e-mails to delete and then delete. The confirmation message overlays the menu, and you have to double click to make the confirmation disappear before you can take the next action (like delete more junk mail).
Hi Kurt, thank you for letting us know! Can you please email us a screenshot or a video of what you're seeing? Along with browser details? You can send to oasis.mail.feedback@yahooinc.com. Thanks!

Deleting Sent Emails
This absolute nonsense. I have spent the better part of the morning deleting sent emails going back to 2011. Thos emails had already been deleted. Why am I having to go through this again? I haven't a clue how far this goes back to. What the heck is going on with your guy's. BTW I am having a dickens of time getting into my YAHOO email taking forever to get in and once I am in I am getting an error message site is not responding message.

Negative Feedback on Email Deletion
This is not a suggestion but, rather, a passionate complaint. I recently logged back in to review emails from some time ago to discover that my entire inbox has been permanently deleted. From a customer standpoint, this is severely disappointing as I had many memories and important correspondence stored. This information may not be relevant within the timeframe of your new retention policy but it certainly still holds value over wider spans of time (checking every 1-3 years).
The decision to permanently delete rather than archiving make yahoo mail a much less user friendly option and honestly removes any reason…

Bulk Delete Not Working
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
It's not working! It used to. Please bring it back. It's so annoying to have to delete each item separately. This is on a laptop.
