when there are no visible messages in trash folder to delete but your count shows that there are over 100,000, you should delete them on your servers in order to keep the storage count from being excessive.

Hi, I'm focused on deleting messages in my sent folder. Could we have the same sorting options in sent that we have in the IN box? Also, I have a problem with the auto return from the old emails I'm deleting to the most recent emails. Would it be possible to make that an option instead of automatic?

Using Words "TODAY" AND "YESTERDAY" for the Date
I recently got off the telephone with tech support to address the issue that follows. After researching it, they said there is nothing that can be done about it and suggested I send it in via a feedback form. I absolutely cannot understand why the numeric dating was taken out of incoming and outgoing emails. Using the words "TODAY" and "YESTERDAY" totally blows efficient process time out of the water. When emails are printed, I then have to manually cross off the word and handwrite the date that it was sent or received. This is so archaic and I cannot…

How you gonna say my email storage is full but I cant delete any emails? I click the box to delete emails and another box appears asking if I want to delete ALL the emails. I click on that link it marks ALL the emails, I click delete, empty trash, and there are only 500 emails deleted. Is there an easier way to delete all these emails? im making no progress deleting them myself.

How to UN-BLOCK senders

I blocked many unwanted senders. By accident I blocked some friends who I would like to un-block. I went to SETTINGS next SECURITY & PRIVECY, I found the email addresses I wanted to unblock and I clicked the TRASH icon. I thought I unblock them. Unfortunately they remind BLOCKED. Please HELP. Delete messages from IN Box that have been moved to a folder
When I move an email to one of my folders, it continues to show in my IN Box, though it shows as read. Can I change that in settings so that when it is moved, it no longer shows in the IN Box?

Deleting folders automatically when trying to move to a NEW folder?!
I despise your new email set up from PC. I accidentally deleted very important emails regarding my car purchase trying to select them move to a new folder. i tried renaming the new folder now my emails are not in Trash they are GONE. Very displease with an already obnoxious email set up.

Deleting email from the preview pane
When deleting an email in the preview pane, I occasionally delete the wrong email if I click on the trash can at the "wrong" time. That "wrong" time is when new email arrives and pushes the list down by however many emails are posted in the preview pane at that time. Thus, if 2 emails arrive just as I click on the trash can, I end up deleting the email that is 2 spots above the one I intended to delete. Why the **** isn't delete working for removing trash and spam? Every new "improvement" does nothing but cause more problems. What happened to being able to bring up a menu of all of the mail options, select trash or spam and click on delete and have it gone This whole thing is an incredible mess. Go back to the old one

Why would you take out the option to have a button to select all in order to delele several emails at once. You use to be able to separate your emails by day and week, then be able to delete them all at once. Now you force us to delete each email one at a time. it is very time consuming. If you did this to force us to pay for your subscription in order to have this feature, then you may have just found a way to lose your members and go to another provider. Or at least just…

Please remove the pop-up "Message Deleted" within emails. It's not helpful when going through email and needing to delete quickly.

restore deleted draft
My computer has been acting up the last few days and has been deleting drafts while I am typing them which only frustrating because when a draft email is deleted it is deleted permanently and the yahoo website says it cannot be restored. Can we please change this setting so that a draft email goes into the trash rather than being permanently deleted? Its extremely frustrating to be halfway through a one page email with a lot of detail to then have it be completely deleted.

Deleted items but, message highlighting too obtuse
2 things. I just deleted a bunch of messages, but they don't show in deleted messages. This feels like a bug. Also when going through inbox hitting delete, the currently selected message is not highlighted. You can only tell where you are by the floating controls on the right, but the eye is to the left looking at sender. Highlighting needs to be much clearer for this prices. I'm going back to classic until these issues are fixed
