Deleting Sent Emails
This absolute nonsense. I have spent the better part of the morning deleting sent emails going back to 2011. Thos emails had already been deleted. Why am I having to go through this again? I haven't a clue how far this goes back to. What the heck is going on with your guy's. BTW I am having a dickens of time getting into my YAHOO email taking forever to get in and once I am in I am getting an error message site is not responding message.

Negative Feedback on Email Deletion
This is not a suggestion but, rather, a passionate complaint. I recently logged back in to review emails from some time ago to discover that my entire inbox has been permanently deleted. From a customer standpoint, this is severely disappointing as I had many memories and important correspondence stored. This information may not be relevant within the timeframe of your new retention policy but it certainly still holds value over wider spans of time (checking every 1-3 years).
The decision to permanently delete rather than archiving make yahoo mail a much less user friendly option and honestly removes any reason…
If your account has had no activity for 365 days, then the account is deactivated. We communicate this a few times which includes sending you an email to your alternative email account, so make sure that is updated. If you need help reinstating, contact our CC team at help.yahoo.com. They have the tools to help with these issues. Hope this helps!

Bulk Delete Not Working
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
It's not working! It used to. Please bring it back. It's so annoying to have to delete each item separately. This is on a laptop.

Turn off next email opening automatically
When I delete an email, the next one is opened automatically. Please turn this feature OFF. I want to open each one manually when I have time.

Double delete the mail
For a few months now my email has started deleteing two of my messages when I am only trying to delete one. Not a good thing to be happening. Not even in the new mail yet. Must be an update to the old mail. More spam is getting through also. I had tried the new mail a while back and it didn't handle the spam as well so I had switched back to the old mail as long as it is available.

New to Yahoo Mail and find it nothing but wanting money
How do I go back to Xfinity mail? This is too confusing for me. Ads I've never had and I refuse to pay to get rid of them! Absolutely ridiculous!

Select all
If you want us to be able to clean out our inboxes more easily, but a select all back on the screen, so I can empty the entire box without clicking on each message.

Where did the little pictures go when you empty the spam and trash boxes?
Where are the little trash panda and dumpster fire pictures when I check and delete spam and trash emails from boxes now? I loved seeing those little pictures when I emptied out those boxes.

No auto delete for trash
Can we have the option to toggle off the auto delete feature of the trash. Sometimes I forget to save an important email and now it just auto deleted all of it and I have no way of going back. Or if you have to keep then make it it auto deletes anything older than 6 months. I have to get some from Jan that I didnt save so I have to get the one I missed anyways from them that was closer. Thank so much

Unable to delete 2900000 + items from my account
I have been trying for months to tidy up my account and every time I try to it will say something like 290000 (or similar) items deleted... when I look back nothing has changed. Before you start trying to reduce the amount of starage, you need to fix this.
HI Steve, we recommend deleting less emails at one time. Since you are trying to delete this many at once it's backlogged the backend. Try deleting fewer emails at a time. This will help. Thanks!

Restore previous featue of deleting old emails by Sender alphabetically
I am extremely frustrated that you have deleted your old style of deleting email by Sender listed alphabetically. Your new method is SO time consuming!! I receive so many emails from ads and companies and do not want to spend a crazy amount of time tping in each ad or company to a search box. PLEASE could you RESTORE your original feature of deleting old emails by Sender alphabetically? I have heard the same frustration from friends who also have yahoo email. Delete all the emails from a specific sender
In order to delete old emails in a mass quantity, can you give us an option to select the sender name so we can find all the emails under that sender and remove them quickly. For example I have a billion emails from Indeed. In that case I can write sender name and ask system to delete all at once.

Hi Tom, from your Inbox, if you click on any checkbox a new checkbox will appear the very top. From there you can Select All and then Delete All. When it's deleting... at the top, you'll see a small popup ask if you want ALL the emails deleted. Thanks!

Sort Parameters
It would be a good thing to be able to sort by 'Sender' for the entire inbox file rather than have to select a specific Sender at a time. If you want to delete most or all emails for multiple unknown senders, a total sort by 'Sender' would significantly reduce the time to delete and reduce my number of emails. I think I was able to do it one time and have not been able to find the option again; it is like it is no longer accessible. I also could not find an 'Edit' option as suggested in the…
Hi Barbara, yes you can sort by sender in this version, but just like the other version, you need to disable Conversation view from your Settings. We cannot sort by sender when Conversations are enabled. Once you disable Conversations, sort by sender is an option. Hope this helps!
