Email Deletion
Please return the ability to select the emails that I want to delete such as starred or unstarred. At this point, I am using the basic email format, but I can only select "All" emails for deletion. I also can not see how to move emails into folders. In the new format I can not even find how to delete emails. This is very unfavorable change.

Delete messages from IN Box that have been moved to a folder
When I move an email to one of my folders, it continues to show in my IN Box, though it shows as read. Can I change that in settings so that when it is moved, it no longer shows in the IN Box?

Deleting folders automatically when trying to move to a NEW folder?!
I despise your new email set up from PC. I accidentally deleted very important emails regarding my car purchase trying to select them move to a new folder. i tried renaming the new folder now my emails are not in Trash they are GONE. Very displease with an already obnoxious email set up.

deleting trash/spam email
I would rather see the delete all/select all icon when deleting the 100 spam emails than having to hit ctrl a.

Deleting email from the preview pane
When deleting an email in the preview pane, I occasionally delete the wrong email if I click on the trash can at the "wrong" time. That "wrong" time is when new email arrives and pushes the list down by however many emails are posted in the preview pane at that time. Thus, if 2 emails arrive just as I click on the trash can, I end up deleting the email that is 2 spots above the one I intended to delete. This is greatly annoying as I receive 300-400 emails a day and now have to go to the Trash…

Can't DElete
Why the **** isn't delete working for removing trash and spam? Every new "improvement" does nothing but cause more problems. What happened to being able to bring up a menu of all of the mail options, select trash or spam and click on delete and have it gone This whole thing is an incredible mess. Go back to the old one

select today for delete all
Why would you take out the option to have a button to select all in order to delele several emails at once. You use to be able to separate your emails by day and week, then be able to delete them all at once. Now you force us to delete each email one at a time. it is very time consuming. If you did this to force us to pay for your subscription in order to have this feature, then you may have just found a way to lose your members and go to another provider. Or at least just…

Message Deleted pop up
Please remove the pop-up "Message Deleted" within emails. It's not helpful when going through email and needing to delete quickly.

Deleted items but, message highlighting too obtuse
2 things. I just deleted a bunch of messages, but they don't show in deleted messages. This feels like a bug. Also when going through inbox hitting delete, the currently selected message is not highlighted. You can only tell where you are by the floating controls on the right, but the eye is to the left looking at sender. Highlighting needs to be much clearer for this prices. I'm going back to classic until these issues are fixed

deleing draft
I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with a recent experience I had using Yahoo Mail. I was in the middle of an important conversation and attempted to delete a draft. To my shock, this action deleted the entire conversation thread — not just the draft itself.
This behavior is highly unintuitive and extremely frustrating. When a user chooses to delete a draft, the reasonable expectation is that only the draft message will be removed — not the entire conversation history. Losing an important conversation in this way was not only upsetting but also very disruptive.
To make matters worse,…

filters
How about .... making it so user filters actually work? As far as I can tell, your system offers these, but they do not work at all. For example, I would like to block anything with the letter pattern "offeestor" - it's almost like yahoo sponsors this spam, i.e., Yahoo is incapable of blocking it, and my user filters which should enable automatic deletion of anything having this letter pattern... are also completely nonfunctional. Please don't comment that my filters interfere with your spam protection, i.e., that's nonsense.

by not sending mail from inbox to draft
I am surprised how an email from my inbox was transferred into drafts without the original email in the inbox. Now I have deleted the draft and lost a very important email.

Delete stupid additions
unsubscribe pop up box and the whole thing just plain irritating. Get rid of the receipts, don't want it to be gin with, don't use it, and it takes up too much room. I don't need a record of my spending in my mail account.

how to delete email using arrow keys
I used to be able to delete email by highlighting one email and then using the arrow keys go down or up and select emails for deletion. It now seems that using the arrow keys selects from either the beginning or the end and starts highlighting versus where i have selected a particular email to start highlighting. What happened

spam mail delete
Can you make it so that we can click on the box on front of the Spam mail we want to delete and just have all click delete? It's very time consuming to go through each one, hit the trash can, answer the delete button again for each one. If I sent them to Spam it's because I don't want to see them.
Thank you!

Delete Autofill Contacts Permanently
Please provide users an option to delete all the autofill contacts that Yahoo Mail saves. Many do not want the addresses of every person they ever corresponded with saved to an increasing long list of autofill contacts. You used to provide a way to hide these autofill suggestions (an X next to the name) before the recent Yahoo Mail update. Unfortunately, that method only worked temporarily until you logged out. Log back in, and all autofill contacts you hid were no longer hidden, which just makes for added frustration. Even turning off enhanced contacts has not removed any of these…
