    Just being able to block in the article comments section would be incredibly useful nevermind the message boards. The mute option really does not go far enough. Why ever allow people with ill will to comb through a user's post history and continuously attack them? This "full block" will do wonders for both the article comments section and the message boards.

    Yep, the spammers / abusive posters don't often get enough positive votes to get into the top reactions section but they proliferate in the newest reactions section. Unfortunately, the newest reactions section is the most relevant section of them all. It is disappointing to see the abusive posters continue for 3+ years and Yahoo still won't do anything about them. I'm predicting these abusive (policy breaking) posters will continue onto 5 or even 10+ years as Yahoo won't enforce their own policies even against the most blatant spammers.
