Reading the comments on yahoo was no different than seeing them on youtube. I read the comments to know how well informed the general population is and clearly the answer is it isn't. News should be like the way it was during the time of integrity a dissemination of facts not the place for tin foil hat groups to shout into the abyss. That is all no need to hear the response from the peaunut gallery cause that makes this a comments section. good bye, and good riddance comments!
Yep of all the comments not surprising only two were even close to what a sane man would call reasonable :(. If so many people are all about belief being more important than fact why have I yet to see anyone actually on the news volunteer their services without any protective equipment. Or heck offer to purposely get infected to show this is "no big deal". Nope cause to lazy or more likely they would never put their money where their mouth is cause running the mouth thats free cheap safe proving it on the other hand... I know people who did you say and they were ok. Hmm.. umm is that how scientific decisions should be made based on someone you know doing something... and what they were ok, so ill be ok? that sound scientific at all, to like anyone? Sounds like a basic lack of common sense if you ask me. its like the parable of the friend jumping off the cliff (would hope you learned it at five you anticovid are all jumping off and bringing good people with and its sad :( its not necessary there is no benefit sincerely please dont). Anyway no evidence would be enough for any of you so why are you even asking? Regardless of what all the people above are saying show me statistics (that in truth you wouldn't understand cause knowing to repeat numbers on a statistical study does not make you a statistician) So why does anyone think that is a reasonable way to guide the decisions of the worst pandemic of the current century. I mean you wouldnt just google how to remove my appendix and remove your own appendix would you? cause thats pretty much the same thing. i.e. making bad decisions without full knowedge. caveat being you wouldnt cause you are at risk so now you actually care. i mean the level of evidence doesn't matter to any of you. cause be honest with yourself, you will always explain it away.
