commentedWhy can I not comment anymore? I think it is because I do not support the Left, The View, or the Biden Administration.

commentedZwecklos, Onkel Troy.

commentedYahoo News used to be pretty decent with the comments section. Now, the only thing bringing me to Yahoo is a junk email account I use maybe once every couple months. Open up comments.

commentedYou know this is the most talked about subject in this yahoo forum, the comments section ! "freedom of speech" we yahoo users loved to discuss and express our opinions on all of the stories posted on yahoo, it was our town square. Now you have taken that away from us, just like the communist countries have done to their people. Please return the comments to us and block or suspended those that start name calling and those that threaten physical harm towards others.

commentedI believe you still have comments but some people are blocked. I was reading the article about airline delays & cancellations & there was a comment section. So I tried to post a comment & was instructed to sign in & when I did & went back to comment the comment section was mysteriously suspended. More like I was suspended.

commentedIt was important at one time, but it isn't anymore. Yahoo punishes everybody for the mistakes of a few individuals. I don't plan to use the comments' section anymore. There is more to life than this. I would suggest eradicating the comments' section because you are too sensitive to some remarks by those few. Personally, I am well-educated with two degrees and find your policies puzzling. It seems like a few have ruined it for the others. It is what it is . Have a nice week !

commentedApparently, I am no longer allowed to comment, as I can never see the comments section when I'm signed into my account. Last time I commented, sometime last year (2021), I used the word "asinine" and got an email stating that the comment was not acceptable. Clearly, Yahoo has IGNORANT people in charge of reviewing comments, as the word "asinine" is NOT a cuss word or crude in any way, shape or form. Meanwhile, I read articles with the f-word, the c-word and all manner of filth. I also see that there are many nasty, RACIST comments that DO get posted. Yahoo is run by ignorant hypocrites.

commentedOne of the main reasons I read Yahoo news. Loved reading "comments" and commenting. Too bad, Yahoo made a poor decision to eliminate "comments".

commentedFor over two years now Yahoo has made this comment at the end of every article :
Our goal is to create a safe and engaging place for users to connect over interests and passions. In order to improve our community experience, we are temporarily suspending article commenting..... It is about time to renew the very popular feature of the "comment section"

commentedYou need to allow for comments. It's great that Yahoo News gets their say, but response is needed and necessary, because what is reported is often either not entirely true and is highly biased. And when there is no alternate view, then people are left to suppose that what is reported is fact. You have no right to curtail free speech. You get your free speech, you need to allow others their free speech
