As a recent M.Ed. graduate, and future Ed.D hopeful, I along with probably millions of other educators would find this article appalling and disgusting. I cannot believe your editor-in-chief would even let an article like this air.
We are supposed to be supporting women in education, not bringing them down. For too long white males, such as Kyle Smith, have been the very reason why we "laugh" at women's accomplishments, yet if a male achieved his Ed.D, he of course would have the respected title "Dr." and nobody would argue him.
