i do not like the new layout at all. too much blank space, and i don't need ads flashing at me when i am trying to check my mail. i found my way to settings and clicked to have the old email back, but it won't do it.

despite what you may say, this new version with all it's additional (wasted) white space, and the annoying flashing ads in the right column is NOT better. i can't even see the full width of the email, have to scroll left to right to read it. why - because you want ample room for all that unnecessary matter on the right. and what purpose does the stupid little purple dot serve? none at all, just wastes space. and every time i try to read the subject line the unsubscribe button pops up, blocking my view of the subject. different does not necessarily mean better, as danny glover said years ago, 'i'm gettin' too old for this she-ite. i wish i had another option but i've been using yahoo since it was barely more than a word with an exclamation point, back when there was still dial-up, and i don't want to switch to something else.
