Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

Search by Subject & Folder
I use Mail search almost everyday and the old Yahoo mail let me search by subject and folder. folder search is now gone in the new version. How do I switch back or get this daily used feature back ASAP?

unable to move emails from sub folder to inbox
i can move emails from inbox to a subfolder, but if i make a mistake i cannot move from a subfolder to inbox. drag and drop doesn't work nor does ticking the checkbox and clicking on 'move to inbox'. it doesn't work in standard or basic yahoo versions.
This includes the spam folder which now has some emails incorrectly put there by yahoo's filters from my bank that i cannot move back to the inbox.9th ranked -
Moving inbox email to other folders
HELP with this new email version.... I CANNOT MOVE any email from inbox to folders using either dragging the email to the box or using the ACTION box!

Scrolling through mail is jumpy as it skips emails
Scrolling through email is impossible. I use the scroll wheel on my mouse to look through email as I use a pc. I can start at the top and after one or two short scrolls down it jumps down so I miss several hours of emails For example, my newest email came at 6:12pm today..After I get down to 4:20pm it jumps to mail received at 1pm without my even scrolling and when I go back up I see I missed 32 emails received. Search Emails by Keywords
The new Yahoo Mail version does not allow you to search emails by keywords as the previous version did. This is an important feature which needs to be added back immediately.

Draft emails just delete while you are working on them
Three times I have been writing an email and suddenly yahoo just says your email has been deleted. It just happened to me 11:47am 6/20/25 AZ time. I am so frustrated. I don't know why this happens and how to stop it.

backspace deletes emails that are being replied to
When I try to reply to an email and I hit the back space, at all, it deletes the entire email. I just hit the back space on a very important thread of emails and it permanently deleted the entire string of emails I have been trying to work out a return for an expensive product for. Priority
When all mail tab is selected the Priority label on all the Priority mail covers part of the subject line in the list of mail, a smaller circle with just a P in in it I believe would be better to not interfere with reading the subject titles.
Not real important but it does look sloppy.

Yahoo Email display window layout
The Yahoo email display doesn't make good use of the display area. Files, folders, contacts and calendars etc... all need to be hidden but pop-out displays and allow the user to utilise the email lists and the window of the contents of the email usefully. ie. email lists + a window for a selected email's contents.

Collapsable Side Bar
Please make the Starred/Contacts/Calendar/Notepad area a sidebar that can be collapsed. The current implementation takes up too much valuable space in the browser window.

Adding email address to contacts
I've tried, unsuccessfully, to add email addresses to my contacts I couldn't get them to SAVE, because I never saw a SAVE BUTTON. . It must be operator error, but I am wondering if this is a glitch in the new system and others are having the same difficulty?

Can not forward emails with attachments
As in a few days ago I could not forward emails with attachments. I have to go to the old version to do so.
Also, I do not know why now every attachment gets copied twice. If I send an email with 5 attachments when I go back to my email now it has 10 files.How often are you allowed to make changes? It is taking way too long for these things to get fixed.
