Baseball at Fantrax is going really well. We'll be moving football there as well since Yahoo is now helmed by a bunch of morons who removed the message boards from their fantasy games.

You can't run keeper or dynasty leagues without a message board.
If Yahoo is interested in keeping loyal, long time users the boards have to come back and baseball (and not be removed from future seasons of hockey, basketball, and football).

I think the best answer they're going to be willing to provide is that they're electing to prioritize the chat module going forward.
You'd need someone off the record to tell you the real story / motivation behind this move.
It's got a massive disapproval rate and they don't care. They've dug their heels in and would rather alienate everyone than actually fix the problem.

Agree! However, I don't think they have any intention of bringing them back despite the obvious feedback.
They're going to ignore the feedback because someone above them made a decision to push chat.
Lame, I know.

The message boards are NOT coming back.
They're just attempting to farm ideas to build the "improved chat" at some point during the season when it will be too late.
That's why you aren't seeing a response to the feedback. None is intended.
Again, the message boards are not coming back despite the clear indication that it's a horrible idea.
Your best bet is to leave Yahoo for another service that still has boards like we're doing.

You guys continue to find new ways to make it difficult to continue using Yahoo as the fantasy sports site of choice.
Message Boards are essential for a league. There's just no other way to describe it.
Bring them back or watch long time leagues wither on the vine.

Two longtime baseball leagues already moved to Fantrax as a result of this decision.
Three longtime football leagues are moving to Fantrax as a result of this decision.
Will be moving another three longtime basketball leagues to Fantrax as a result of this decision.
Now that I've seen this new, magical chat application, the decision to move all our leagues is absolutely justified.
