Incredibly stupid decision and this whole "we welcome your feedback" is massively condescending as there's no way that you lot will go back on this decision. No one at Yahoo will read these.
Message Boards are a simple way for leagues to communicate and discuss issues and I don't see how that can possibly be a difficult thing for Yahoo to continue.
Also love how you guys want opinions of the Message on a Message Board where you have to log in even though I followed a link from my league which I was already logged into. Make us jump through more hoops to give our opinions. Very on brand for Yahoo.
I'd like a new playoff format like the Australian Football League uses for all sports not just MLB.
You play an entire season and get a top 4 seed and then have one ****** week and you're out to a lower seed. That sucks.
The AFL has two separate playoff groups so that the Top 4 seeds get a second chance at the title if they lose in Round 1.
Round 1
1 v 4. Winner goes to Semi-Final. Loser plays in Round 2
2 v 3. Winner goes to Semi-Final. Loser plays in Round 2
5 v 8. Winner moves to Round 2. Loser is out.
6 v 7. Winner moves to Round 2. Loser is out.
Round 2. Top seed plays lowest seed.
Loser of 1 v 4 vs Winner of 5v8/6v7
Loser of 2 v 3 vs Winner of 5v8/6v7
Semi-Final. Top seed plays lowest seed.
Winner of Round 1 v Round 2 Winner
