    Hello Yahoo Fantasy Team,

    I am writing as the commissioner of a long-running fantasy football league on Yahoo. Our league history on your platform goes back more than two decades, and that history matters a great deal to us. The archive of champions, standings, rivalries, and league identity we have built on Yahoo is one of the biggest reasons I do not want to move to another platform.

    That said, modern fantasy football has evolved, and the limitations in Yahoo’s league settings are now putting commissioners like me in a difficult position.

    For our 16-team league, I want to implement two features that Yahoo currently does not support:

    TE premium scoring

    A 7-team Championship tournament and 7-team Consolation tournament

    Those settings are important because they better fit the structure and competitive balance of our league. TE premium better reflects the modern fantasy landscape, and a 7-team championship and consolation setup keeps more managers engaged throughout the full season.

    The problem is simple: I want to stay on Yahoo because of the league’s long history here, but platforms like Sleeper already support both of these configurations, while Yahoo does not.

    I am not looking to leave Yahoo out of dissatisfaction with the platform overall. In fact, the opposite is true. I would strongly prefer to remain on Yahoo. But commissioner flexibility matters, and if Yahoo cannot support the format a league needs, it becomes harder to justify staying solely for history.

    I hope your team will consider adding TE premium scoring and more customizable playoff and consolation tournament options for larger leagues. Features like these would go a long way toward helping long-standing leagues like mine remain on Yahoo rather than being forced to migrate elsewhere.
