Scoring - Position specific scoring categories
This scoring setting change would allow commissioners to change the scoring value for common scoring categories for each position (QB/RB/WR/TE) individually. For example, a commissioner could make receptions 1 point for WRs and RBs but 2 points for TEs. Currently you can only change the scoring value for all positions at once.

Currently Play in an IDP league, we want to turn off the point for tackles made by offensive players when they make a tackle after a turnover. Right now we can't.

Allow TE receptions to be worth more than RB or WRs. This will give TEs more value and change draft strategy

I would love to be able to do TE Premium. Seems like this could be an easy added feature. Please add asap

Was hoping to move my league to PPR for RB/WR and 1.5 PPR for TE, but Yahoo doesn't have flexibility to create positional scoring categories. Would really like to see this added as a feature.

My league is entering its 19th season and we love us some balance and we love us some points. It's a very high scoring league based on the settings which we enjoy. In a super competitive league it's fun to have so many things happening in a game that can change our outcomes. We're also striving to balance the positions as much as possible. With our flexes and everything else the main problem we have at the moment is a RB scarcity problem. If one person can get three-four RBs that also catch the ball the balance of the league shifts. We did the math and the fix for our particular league scoring would be if we could do 1 point per reception for RBs and 2 points per reception for WRs/TEs. Additionally we want to adjust the QB rushing yards scoring as well.

This aspect of the single reason why a league I'm in only plays CBS. And CBS is brutal. It's worse than the worst fantasy platform I could ever imagine. Please add this feature so I can show them the promise land of yahoo. 😀

@Corey Jillett: Your logic of a QB touchdown and a WR touchdown having different values in a standard league is flawed. It is not the positions that make these values different, but rather, the types of TD's they are (usually) credited with. In particular, it is the PASSING touchdown that is credited for 4 points, while the rushing and receiving TD's are credited for 6 points. This means that in a standard league, a QB who takes the ball into the end zone himself (as opposed to dumping it off to someone else) will be credited with a RUSHING touchdown (worth 6 FP's), not a PASSING touchdown (worth 4 FP's).

More specific position scoring options i.e tight end scoring etc

We use standard scoring but would like to use ppr for the TE position, just to keep it more competitive with the other positions. There is no option to designate ppr by position.

TE premium scoring......I would like to be able to set scoring parameters separately for each position. Then we could give TE 1.5 ppr vs 1 ppr for RB and WR.

Have a Premuim TE scoring section to allow Leagues to give TEs more points based on catches and/or First downs. This would make the position more valuable and compatible to other positions.

Create the option for Tight End Premium(1.5 ppr) scoring league

Would be great if each position was customizable. TE premium is a newer wrinkle in today’s landscape that’s great for fantasy in my opinion and being able to increase or decrease each position’s ppr would be ideal

@tom lol dude in standard a QB touchdown is 4 points and a WR Touchdown is 6 points.... let people play how they want and implement scoring how they want. such an easy thing for yahoo to do.

I would love to be able to set scoring stats based on position. This way I could give TE a catch bonus to make them more valuable. I do IDP as well and would LOVE to let DL sacks be worth more points and DB Int's. Things like that I feel would be so easy to implement.

Yes! Having the option would be a great add. I've wanted 1.5ppr on TEs for years.

@Tom Kirk, nothing about this idea prohibits you from continuing to run your league that way. This is just giving the OPTION to add TE premium, for instance –– what's wrong with the option?
