This version is not ready. The tabs are a mess. The spacing is such that the bottom preview pane is useless (why do I need an inch-high header?). I get pop-ups that interrupt my work flow trying to gameify sending an email. My other inboxes are more difficult to manage. I hit buttons--an x to close a tab, "send," -- and nothing happens, then I get a message that the site has crashed. (I'm using an updated version of Firefox). I'm about ready to start using another site--probably Outlook--to manage my Yahoo, even though it doesn't have tabs.

Tabs are a disaster in this new version. Every search I do is saved as a new tab, and most of them don't let me close them. The primary reason that I use Yahoo is tabs as they help me organize my workflow. Now it's a series of bubbles extending off the screen that don't go away and make it impossible to find what I was just working on. This version is not ready for prime time; please let us revert until it is.

at least until you can figure out how to condense the view. I can only see five messages at a time in the top box, and that's with barely an inch to read the note in the bottom box. It's like you only care about appearance and not function. Please allow the option to revert until you at least offer the same spacing as the old Yahoo. I really don't want to re-activate Outlook, but at least it's more user-friendly.

The pop-up congratulations for sending emails have to stop. Please. Make them go away.

I just measured--on my 14 inch laptop with the screen evenly divided between inbox and message preview, the way you've set up the header in the preview box leaves just 1.25 inches of message text visible. Again, did someone actually use this before they forced us to?

The new one is not designed for a laptop screen. I can't see how many messages are in my various inboxes without clicking through on them. The header in the preview pane takes up half the box. The messages are so spread out that I can only see a few at a time. It feels like this was designed by someone who has an aesthetic vision (and uses GMail?) but either doesn't use Yahoo Mail themselves and/or doesn't care about the user experience.

Hi, is there a way to revert to the old Yahoo Mail? This format is much worse for me. To name three specific things, the alternate inboxes now appear below, and you have to go and hover over them to see if there is a new message. Old Yahoo had them to the top of the left column, and you could see new messages at a glance. Also, the layout is way too expanded for someone who works on a laptop. In particular, the header for emails in the preview screen takes up half the box, making it very hard to review emails in this format (my preferred view). Last, the pop up congratulating me for sending an email needs to go. The last thing I need in my life is one more interruption, especially from what is meant to be a productivity app. I'm guessing I'll also have thoughts about the new tabs, which didn't work well when I previewed the new Yahoo mail a few months ago, but I will wait to give that feedback until I have a chance to work with them.

If there is a way to revert back to the old Yahoo, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

    Regards,

    Jen Mueller
