You do not have the option to make it over the final two weeks in baseball. You have the option to finish early before key players on non contenders get benched for the year or stars on contenders get rested for the playoffs. If you choose the later playoffs it overlaps into the last week. It is not a full two week playoff.

At the ends of seasons schedules aren't always full and the last two weeks get combined by default if you choose the late option in settings.

Regardless of the sport the last week of the season is most times a waste of your high drafts because unless they are fighting for a playoff spot they are being rested.

A prime example is baseball and great young pitcher who are put on "pitch counts" they do not play at the end of the season and a team that was great in the heart of the season get beat by a 4th place fantasy chump because his midseason lineup is sitting on the bench.

Kelly the way my leagues work it is the function of the commissioner to require owners vetoing a trade to provide their reasoning. It would be meaningless for yahoo to write code and eat bandwidth providing that space and having 99.9 percent of the leagues not use it.

In the leagues I manage I require an email, sent privately, giving the reason for the vote. "I do not accept "because I hate Jimmy" or "just because I can". If a trade appears fair and the persons disapproving do not provide some realistic logic for the veto I overturn the veto. And there are some folks that will veto every trade no matter how fair the trade is. They just like being aholes.

And just in case you are wondering, I don't dispute any serious reason for a veto. I simply make sure there is a reason that is relevant to hockey and not just some idiot that likes messing with people because they can.

And if you do fantasy sports enough you'll find that in active league most unbalanced or unfair trades are vetoed and nearly everyone votes against them so really bad trades are not an issue anyways.

"When searching for free agents"? A free agent with stats for today is not usable so what's your point in whining about "searching for free agents"? The most valuable information about the current day is "projected" and it exists.

If you are referring to a "Today" column under the "Players" option this is idiotic bs. What purpose in fantasy sports is there for searching for todays stats to decide which player to add or drop when the player DOESN'T HAVE ANY STATS BECAUSE HE HASN'T PLAYED YET! And if he has played you cannot use him that day.

A "Today" option in the free agent area is wasted data and nobody who is paying attention would even bother looking there because it would either be blank or the info would be meaningless.

Can anyone see why that option no longer exists? It showed nothing relevant and eats up bandwidth that can be used for more useful information.

And for those that absolutely have to know what a player did "Today" click on the button to pick that player up and his stats for the day will be on the screen. And if the player belongs to someone else click on the team and look at what he did that day.

    This is not rocket science.

Goalie SOG, PPP, G, A and SHP will be meaningful about a dozen times a season across the entire NHL. Pretending they are factors you could use to pick a team is just plain stupid.

It would be as logical to add scoring stats for goalies as to add a Shut Out and Save category for forwards. There would never be a SO and every month or so a skater would get credit for an actual save.

And just as it happens in football when a WR makes a tackle he gets credit for it so there is no need to make it an official category for goalies. If a goalies scores a goal is goes on the board just like when a receiver tips a ball into a defenders hands and then tackles him he gets credit for a tackle.

NO. Shoot outs do not belong in hockey. PERIOD.
