Tell readers that if they want to visit Mexico, fly to El Paso, cross the border by taxi and fly from Juarez. I have visited my girlfriend in Juarez 6 times since last June. I drove 5 times to El Paso, and crossed the border to Juarez in my vehicle. One time last June, I flew to Mexico City then to Juarez, then went home by crossing the border and flying out of El Paso. I assume all border crossings into Mexico are the same as Juarez. I have never been stopped or asked to present a passport or ID. There are no computers to swipe and check your ID on the Mexican side. Several times there were no border guards present! And you do not need a passport to cross the border into Mexico by land. Only if you fly from the US.
