AI uses tons of resources, electricity and water.
Why? Just why?

Who were the systems analysts in charge of this redesign? They either did not solicit input on the functionality, or they ignored it because they didn't like it. They should all be demoted.
I literally just left Yahoo Mail after more than 25 years over this. It's "only" one extra click but IT'S SUCH A STUPID, UNNECESSARY CLICK.
I already had Gmail for dealing with businesses but I'm sunsetting Yahoo and going to ProtonMail permanently.

Alternatively you can CORRECT that section to say:
Mailboxes cannot be deleted.
However, you can create a Filter to forward this mail to your Trash folder. Here's how to do that:
1. Open your email client or service.
2. Go to the settings or preferences section.
3. Look for the "Filters" or "Rules" option.
4. Create a new filter or rule.
5. Set the criteria to match the emails you want to redirect.
6. Choose the action to move those emails to the Trash folder.
7. Save the filter or rule.Jeremy Calton shared this idea ·
I don't hate this because it's new and different. I hate it because it's so poorly designed.
I really want to meet the systems analysts who designed this. There's absolutely NO WAY that user feedback preferred this clunky, oversized, harder-to-navigate mess over the old version.
