We have added a column with the Opposing Pitcher in the My Team (Roster > Opponents) tab to provide insight into the matchup. Adding stats for a particular match-up is a tougher task, but we hope to add at some point this season.
Career batter vs pitcher stats have been added to players pages.

I found this comment from yahoo last year when this subject was brought up. ...this is what they wrote.

Yahoo Fantasy SportsMy comment is why take it down again? It was obviously a hot topic that many many wanted. You agreed, and added it back. Why not offer it again this season? Why mess with what the public wants???

This tool was the most useful tool Yahoo provided us from a managing our team and setting our lineups stand point, and it's no longer provided to us. . It's nothing more than a guess situation now when setting our lineups. I'm a stat guy, and the info yahoo provided use in the tool they discontinued was outstanding info. I've read comment after comment after comment on this matter about commissioners moving to ESPN. Why wouldn't Yahoo add this tool back rather than losing managers? I just don't get it.

I couldn't agree more. This is the most useful tool that yahoo provides us as far as managing your team, and they discontinued it. The batter vs pitcher tool IS NOT user friendly. It takes 5 times longer to use that the tool you took down. I'm finding myself very seriously considering moving my 3 leagues I commish to ESPN. The batters vs pitchers tool is a joke. Half the time, the pages don't even upload. Why does yahoo mess with whats working? If it isn't broke, don't fix it.

Please consider bringing back that tool. I am the commissioner in 3 leagues, and all the managers in the league are furious about yahoo discontinuing that tool. If it doesn't return, we'll be taking our 3 leagues to ESPN. Thank you

. Please bring back the feature on the hitters profile page that showed the hitters career stats against the opposing starting pitcher he is facing that day. It was the most useful tool yahoo offered us. It enabled us to manage our team with one click of the mouse. The hitters vs pitchers tool is NOT user friendly. It takes 5 times longer, and most of the time the pages don't even open.
I keep waking up every morning hoping and praying to see that yahoo brought back the hitter vs. the pitcher career stats they are facing that day on the team page, or even the profile/individual profile page, and everyday I get disappointed. I see many managers that has been with yahoo for years asking to PLEASE bring back the tool. Why don't you do this for the managers/customers? It's a useful, easy, convenient tool that takes no time. Last season it took a couple weeks for you to supply this tool to the customers/managers. I'm hoping to see it real soon, and prevent me from any thoughts of moving my leagues to ESPN next season.
