Player Info - Show batter's career stats vs opposing pitcher in player card
This would add a batter's career stats vs an opposing pitcher on their player card.

Here is the translation on Gathering Feedback..... we have no clue what we are doing but we will continue to be stubborn and insist that we do have a clue and not make any changes that make a difference on our site, other than trying to make money on broken ****... your programmers are horrible YaPoo.... no joke horrible. there is nothing worth paying for on this site except if we could all chip in and put you out of business.

This used to exist until some millenial idiot programmer decided to make things more better.... Yahoo turned to YaPoo at that moment.

Ideally, Yahoo! would create a tab on the My Team, Watch List and Players (waiver wire) pages that highlighted the All Time Batter vs. Pitcher matchup stats (which can currently be found within the individual players’ card). Having it on these pages would allow users to sort and find the best Batter vs Pitcher matchups for an individual date.
The issue has been heightened because Yahoo! has removed the Matchup Ratings tabs on said pages. As of now, we can no longer search the waiver wire nor review your watch list to see future pitching/batting matchups. For example, last year, when reviewing potential pickups on my watch list, I would move to a future date and review the batter vs pitcher matchup. Not that we need Yahoo! intel to decide, but it would be nice to know whom the matchup would be against tomorrow. As of now, you need to review the starting pitching for the future dates and then assess the matchup (using 2 separate pages).

great idea! I have been playing on Yahoo Baseball for over 10 years, and this would be a very nice addition to us in daily lineup leagues.

The mobile version of the site has this on the gameday info link by each player. I love that, H-O-W-E-V-E-R, this is not available on the desktop version. The same gameday link that would have this on the mobile version, opens with a separate screen on the desktop version. I cannot find the pitcher vs. batter matchup info anywhere. Very, very frustrating that they've had this technology and are squandering it -- and I'm in a paid league where money is on the line.

A huge part of fantasy is knowing which pitcher batters are facing. Just put that days opposing starter next to the game time or opponent. Every other major site does it.

So much of my time [on other pages] have been spent trying to figure out matchups, when Yahoo could easily post this info (season or career) under a tab. They don't even need to show stats vs. opposition's bullpen, if they just wanted to limit it to the starting pitcher on record. I don't understand why this is so difficult considering how many additions they've made to the main page stats.

Keep up to date on starting pitchers when you give star ratings for batters

Its a necessity to see the career numbers of batters vs the pitcher that day. CBS has it and so does ESPN. I'm in a Pro league and pay for this and to not have that feature is nonsense. Please add it in!

On the phone app, you should be able to see the vs. opp stats (like the desktop) so you can see who your hitters are hitting against that day.

Not a bug. By MLB rules the suspended game's stats are counted on the original game's date, May 15th. All the stats from that game can be found on the stat corrections page.

On this note, add this feature and other matchup-related information to the mobile app. The app is practically useless for anything more than start/sit.

Yahoo used to have the next SP the batter is facing on the player profile homepage. Then they took it off there (I can't imagine why) and put it in the Batter vs. Pitcher tab. Which meant a user had to navigate there and then scroll or command+F and type in the pitcher's name. NOW they add pagination to the Batter vs. Pitcher page. Adrian Beltre has 50 pages of pitchers he's faced. Am I supposed to click through each page, command+Fing on each, until I find the pitcher he's facing? Nah, I'm not going to do that, so I need to go to another website to find a batter's history against a particular pitcher. It was perfect the way you had it. Change it back for an easy win!

I WAS JUST SETTING MY LINEUP & WAS ON THE FENCE ABOUT STARTING AVISAIL GARCIA.
SO I WENT TO ESPN (AS I'VE BEEN DOING) TO SEE HIS NUMBERS AGAINST DUFFY. HERE IS THE LINK TO HIS PLAYER PAGE. THIS IS HOW A PLAYERS PROFILE SHOULD LOOK!
