Bring back comments immediately, those that can't handle having conversations or heated debates need to grow up. Everyone has an opinion, viewpoint, or life experiences they should be able to share. If someone else disagrees then they should be able to debate with the original commenter and others that may agree or disagree. But don't chastise some for using swear words or derogatory language but not others!!!! Either police everyone evenly or let it be a free for all with a survival of the fittest mentality. I have tested the waters to know yahoo does treat one political faction differently that the other. I made 2 usernames 1 to post Conservative political Ideology and one to post Liberal Ideology, one of those user names always got warnings about what I posted though it was never filled with violence, curse words, or hate speech. The other I could say anything I wanted including wishing others dead, cursing multiple times in one comment and using derogatory language to describe others and not one warning at all. Return commenting, be fair, and let conversations and debates take place. Adults should be able to handle some criticism of thier opinions and beliefs, otherwise how else are you ever made to consider or see how someone else's feelings and thoughts on any subject??? Are we all supposed to be brain washed masses that think and do everything alike??? It has been said America is the great melting pot, so let us melt and share ideas, opinions, and even culture through comments. I can be stubborn and opinionated, but sometimes I have debated with others than have made me think about some things and step into someone else's shoes briefly and vice versa. I think yahoo shutting down comments is a huge disservice to thier users and has taken away from the website in general. It's time to restore the first ammendment and let free speech reign Supreme, even if it doesn't agree with yahoo Ideology or thier users 100%!!!!
