This idea is a winner, but use it for running back, wide receiver, tight end, and kicker as well as quarterback. I've had a running back or wide receiver get injured and out of the game early and it totally blows up my chance to win for that week. This eliminates that problem because for instance any running back that enters the game that week for that team scores points for you. Secondly it eliminates the problem with the running back by committee. Many running backs do not get picked for a fantasy team because they are part of a running back by committee. This eliminates that problem because you would be selecting all the running backs on a team instead of an individual player. Thirdly many players never factor into a fantasy team because they rarely, if ever, get selected as individual players. This again eliminates that problem because any wide receiver, for instance, that catches the ball scores points for you. Your lineup for each week would look something like this:
San Francisco 49ers Quarterbacks
Pittsburgh Steelers Running Backs
Miami Dolphins Wide Receivers
Minnesota Vikings Wide Receivers
Dallas Cowboys Tight Ends
Denver Bronco Kickers
Baltimore Ravens Defense
Again, this eliminates the problem of injured players and by committee lineups and gets all the skill players on a team involved in the scoring. Highly urge Yahoo to make this an option along with the regular head to head and points scoring options.
