I don't think there should ever be a maximum on innings pitched, but there should be a minimum number of innings pitched in order to qualify for any pitching category.

If the intent to mirror what happens in the MLB in this game, then a limitation of three IL slots is ridiculous because they are not forced to go without players in the MLB when they are hit with a rash of injuries. The number of injuries is growing all the time. I currently have 6 key players, all on the IL and I can only replace three without having to cut someone. That is absolutely ridiculous. I would say a more reasonable number of IL slots would be 5-6, but not 3.

Ohtani is the ONLY player seriously affected by this rule. If you make him a combined player with both hitting and pitching stats counting, then anytime a position player comes in to mop up pitching, the owner of that player should also get tagged with his pitching results if he was in the starting lineup as a hitter for that game. Ohtani is a freak and should be treated as such.
