Worse, no date nothing, just a header and POOF it was gone. May Yahoo be purchased and sold off for any parts worth selling.

Yahoo did something I could never do on my own. They forced me to delete 10,000s of email stuck in my inbox for near 2 decades. Did it the hard way, keyword search in advanced/inbox from the big companies. 17500 deleted from a single keyword alone. Now I am prepared for the eventual shutdown. And when it does, the other 'P' option which I am experimenting with takes over. And not long after that, move everything to Gmail. Once again Yahoo, thank you for that final push.

If you go to the main page for these comments, it is filled with these comments. You appear to have missed that warning header. Very short time and then no final date warning and it's all gone. Some have moved to Protopage, I myself started just in time to have it working properly before My Yahoo disappeared.

I have been building a alternative on Protopage over this. Getting use to it, no email preview is the worse but apparently neither this nor Gmail allows 3rd party access anymore. After My Yahoo is gone, i will turn Yahoo email into a junk email like I once did with a old now dead Hotmail account. Will only require a rare check.

You are giving feedback where you assume this was a error or mistake. I am sure the corporate heads told the IT to remove it, and fast. And it's gone. The 1000s that will post here are not going to change their minds. Now more will flee their Email system and even that could go away, also with minimum warning. I am planning for that last part right now.
