Wait. My previous critical comments were not quite accurate. The more I use the new format, the more I hate it. It's too big and clunky with too many distracting colors and it's hard to read and it slows the reading's progress!!!! Simple black and white is less distracting and easier for users to read and scan. How could Yahoo possibly think making an email format LESS efficient is a good thing. The user is not on this site to shop or do some casual reading - rather, they want to check emails to get work done quickly and efficiently.

It's too big and clunky with too many distracting colors and its hard to read and it slows the reading's progress!!!! And it's harder to differentiate between read and unread emails because the fonts seem similar and not clearly bolded like the previous version. How could Yahoo possibly think making an email format LESS efficient is a good thing. The user is not on this site to shop or do some casual reading - rather, they want to check emails to get work done quickly and efficiently.

Bring back the previous format or you will lose users to other email sites. Oh, and almost forgot - you should fire the UI designer who came up with this format.

The new version text and spacing is toooooo big and inhibits the ability to quickly scan all emails without scrolling. This creates more time for users to read emails. Who are the brilliant UI designers who thought that slowing down user efficiency and progress would be a great new email format. BRING BACK THE PREVIOUS FORMAT. THE NEW ONE SUCKS!
