The reason I used yahoo was because I disliked the set up of google, both for their aesthetics and usability. This new version appears to be a poorly executed copy and also is equally as ugly. You aren't going to be stealing anyone who prefers their interface because they are already settled, but you are going to be losing a lot of people who preferred yours. You had a niche and threw it out.

I made a comment earlier stating that I previously had stuck with yahoo over others for all the reasons others have listed. To add on to Jacobs comment below, I just went back to explore my microsoft email and they in fact have all the old version options of yahoo and more now. I would love to see any other suggestions people may have!
