Agreed. This "update" feels like moving from Lego blocks to Duplo blocks. It's terrible.

Please bring back the Basic Mail option!
The new look is disorienting and the ads, read, unread emails are difficult to differentiate. The 'Priority' filter and AI summaries are awful. Please give me all of my information.There should at least be an option to go back. Mine was removed.

The new update is disorienting. It is difficult to differentiate between read emails, unread emails, and ads. The amount of AI being used is concerning. "Priority" should not be the default, show all of the emails. "AI Summary" should not be the default, show all of the information.
This update is actively trying to hide important information, there should be an option to remain on the Basic Mail format that worked and showed everything.
