A college-educated leader with over 200 credit hours across multiple regional universities, his studies spanned marketing, digital media, psychology, science, and East Asian history—achieving multiple Dean's List and honor roll distinctions. He is currently pursuing a business degree toward an MBA while studying political science and other disciplines online with Hillsdale College.
His career moves seamlessly from youth paper routes, factory labor, small family businesses, and holding a CDL license driving transit buses and trolleys, to climbing into corporate supervisor and executive assistant roles for Fortune 500 giants across banking, insurance, mutual funds, real estate, and tech giants like Google and MLB Network—including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Raytheon, Sprint, Verizon, State Farm, and Allstate. His healthcare background includes work as a phlebotomist, pharmacy technician, and hospital service, alongside enlistment as an Army National Guard 91 Bravo medical specialist. His family reflects this commitment to service, working as nurses, K-12 educators, college instructors, police detectives, and SWAT operators.
In the creative sector, Thunder built independent record and publishing labels affiliated with BMI & ASCAP with global distribution, culminating in walking the red carpet at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards alongside icons like Robert Plant and Taylor Swift. He achieved an unmatched milestone in Recording Academy history: securing 32 first-round nominated submissions across 13 diverse categories on 4 separate artist brand-name albums as a totally independent artist, serving as a long-time Grammy Voting NARAS P&E Wing Member for the Los Angeles Chapter. Thunder refused to compromise his message for corporate control then, a principle he carries directly into his political platform by rejecting all PAC money and holding zero speculative brokerage accounts.
