I really hate it when I open my email and it looks different than when I opened it yesterday or even earlier today. I don't like the new "improved" versions, never have. But what I really abhor is being switched to them without warning or advance notice of any kind. The last time I was switched to the "improved" version, I eventually got to switch back, but it took several days. I'm hoping for the same thing this time. The "improved" version is hard to read, lacks white space in some areas and has too much in other areas, and is just in general a visually chaotic mess. All I ask for in an email service is a place to receive emails that I can open, read, and either keep or discard. I don't need AI to help me with that. I don't need anything grouping emails together into categories that doen't make sense to me. I don't need any bells, whistles, or confetti cannons of any sort. I just need a home for sending and receiving emails. When Yahoo decides for me that I need something "better" than the most basic of services, I begin looking elsewhere for what I need. I know that my few Yahoo accounts being withdrawn from Yahoo is not going to impact your company at all, but it's the only thing I know to do. I cannot put my faith in a company that makes decisions for me and makes changes to my account without providing any advance notice at all.
