When asked for a phone verification code i check mark this new number but yahoo does not now send the verification code. Sometimes this problem becomes critical!

An error occurred while saving the comment Richard Marlais commentedI have a new cell number. I have it listed correctly on yahoo for 2 step verification. When asked by yahoo to check which of 3 ways to get a verification code, I check my new number and never get a response. I then have to give yahoo my wife's phone number and have my wife text or phone the verification code to me. There have been some very stressful incidents where this time delay has been critical. How can I help you fix this situation?

I updated my new cell number for sign in verification, but you aren't able to or won't text my verification code to this new number. Come on give me a little help so I can continue using Yahoo.
