Emails from companies like Uber cannot be opened properly with Basic. I keep having to play around with the window in order to be able to read Uber Receipts. BRING BACK CLASSIC!!! DELETE THIS BASIC ****!!!
It's been MONTHS!! JUST BRING BACK CLASSIC ALREADY! GET RID OF BASIC!!!
It feels like 6 months since you guys forced this switch to this awful Basic version. It still can't open e-mails correctly. It shrinks the actual e-mail to a thin slice of the screen. The fact that Classic was able to open ALL e-mails without such issues should illustrate the colossal failure that Basic is. Also, I was switching everything to my Yahoo Classic from Gmail precisely because Gmail made some terrible changes to its interface. Now I'm screwed. I guess I'll just have to use Gmail's HTML version.
Unbelievable. You guys actually spent years working on the new Basic GUI, and it's still full of bugs when opening e-mails. The whole e-mail shrinks to the side (or does the menu grow?), making the whole thing unreadable. Classic was actually better at opening e-mails. You should have just left Classic as it was, and eliminated Basic.
Some e-mails shrink down to half the page, leaving a huge gray square on the left. Classic DID NOT DO THIS. BRING IT BACK!!!
The top banner is way too tall. Can't hide the CC and BCC bars. When the window shrinks, you actually sacrifice the most IMPORTANT part, the central e-mail frame. That thin, vaguely white font over a light blue background is incredibly hard to read. There is actually LESS space for the important stuff than before. Just bring back Classic, for God's sake... Delete Basic instead.
Stop forcing us to change back every time we log on. The new interface is buggy, it has less space for the relevant parts (bad distribution of space), and it's an eyesore. The old one works great. I actually started changing everything back to Yahoo Mail last year because Gmail made some bad changes to their UI. I guess I'm gonna have to start using Outlook or something...
If it ain't broke, DON'T FIX IT!!!
Alternate solution: allow users to go back before actually saving the base name, and send everyone with an already-existing base name an e-mail link to reset it. Then, make the instructions CLEAR!
