When I am logged into Yahoo give me a link to maps. Then use my set default location not the location of my service provider! Read this >> there is NO relation between my location and that of my ISP. In my case I have set my default location at my home address so when I go to maps or weather use it.

You must have changed Yahoo Maps because now it won't let me change location from my home when I need maps to/from 2 different locations
I am about ready to quit Yahoo and move over to Google . All the changes you have recently made to mail that bother me and now you have changed MAPS so that they are harder to uses and even though I type in a different start point when I push get directions it automatically throws in directions from my home address not the address I am trying to get directions from. Go back to the old maping. At least once we put in the starting place it would pop up again when we started. Every chance you have made makes things worse. I work for a mobile vet and now I have to type the city, state for every stop she makes. The map even starts in California- we live in Va

This map sucks! The sizing slider doesn't work right. It's either very close up or very far away. What have you done? Used to be the best
Go back to what you used to show.
Just entering a starting and ending point is now a pain, assuming it works correctly, which mostly, it doesn't anymore.

Is it possible to make maps to open on your own area instead of the USA as I used to be able on the old Google maps
As used to do with Google maps why can't we make our own area

what happened to "search for restaurants, businesses, etc?
I put in an address and Yahoo maps finds it. How come there is no "search businesses?" This used to be part of yahoo maps

Your search in the maps does not work as needed. If I have a location, it would be nice to find say a butcher on that location.
Your search in the maps does not work as needed. If I have a location; it would be nice to find a "butcher" on that location. The search on the top bar defaults to general search. Finding business, parks on maps is a great way to keep me on the maps and still bring up links (ideally in a new window) I can use.
