Provide a way to make the local news link id code able to be connected to the correct zip code and not that of the ISP gateway!
Current Local News i based on auto id of ISP providing internet and NOT necessarily at all related to the end users ZIP code! Mine is over 100 miles off!

the story about Nita.. the FONT is really almost unreadable that is used for the title.
the use of whatever FONT that is used on the story of Nita Dittenbar is horrible. I could barely make out what it said. Just unreadable. I think you all should refrain from using that font. Link to story/Font is; http://news.yahoo.com/special-report-girl-harbored-dark-secret-fearing-shed-131717019.html

Better keywords for content filtering, and actually USE the ones we do highlight
I don't want to see a bunch of gay-rights stories every day. Every time I see one, I click to remove it, but I've already marked off every variation of "LGBT Issues", "Gay Rights", "Gay Marriage", etc. and still they come.
There's even articles about gay issues where "Gay" is featured right in the headline, but when you click "Show Less", none of the keywords has anything to do with gay issues.
The same goes for marijuana stories - no matter how many I dislike, no matter how many variations of "Marijuana" keywords I add to my filter list, they…

Create a "read later" folder or tab for users. Something that works like the shop cart.
There's a lot of content I see during I am at work that I can't read at that point... I would like to have an option to click and save in a separate page that I could go back and read.

Comics: List resets
Whenever I make a selection on the list of comics, the list resets to the top, so I have to scroll back down the list to get to the next comic. Have the list stay at the last comic I selected.

Proof reading
There isn't just ONE typo or mistake, the yahoo articles seem to be RIDDLED with them. the most recent example (shudder), the article about Gwen Stefani posting a "chubby" photo of herself. Within the article the author cites "ridged beauty standards". It's RIGID, how can a journalist not know simple things like this? How can this have passed the peer review QA/QC stage? Most articles have atrocious sentence structure, segments where it's obvious someone didn't finish what they were going to say, or left a word or phrase out, and so on. I mean, I realize that most of these…

You are wrong if you assume I enjoy listyening to the ads!
How rude! When I get on the computer to listen to music or just do a little fact-finding to enrich my life, it's something I look forward to. I was just listening to some music (YouTube) and checking out some interesting things on the internet and...BOOM!...there's an ad! And no way to shut it down. I could mute my computer, but then I can't listen to MY music. Try watching TV and during the program, an ad pops up and the two audios layer over one another. Makes you want to find a station that doesn't do that, huh?! HINT…

If you're loading video ads that can't be paused, I will no longer use your service. I'm at work and can't have that bandwidth coming across

You haven't changed the Politics section headlight articles in WEEKS! I realize Yahoo! is so pro-Obama it hurts but enough is enough!
You haven't changed the Politics section headline articles in WEEKS! I realize Yahoo! is so pro-Obama it hurts but enough is enough! We get that Obama thinks if the Republicans just go away we could have a breakthrough 2014. It literally oozes out of his very being.

You need to have more balanced news that report both sides of the issues. (ie IRS committee hearing shouting match--really?)
Congressional committee ended within two minutes. Are taxpayers getting their money's worth?

fewer like this
I keep setting the "fewer like this" button" and "x ing" out the category but it keeps giving me stories what I do not want. This morning a full 1/4 stories I do not want.
