Find a truthful person to present or produce the news. The children sang all of the anthem.
The headline spreads the lie that the Capitol police stopped the children from singing the National Anthem. We can see the video showing they finished the anthem. What idiot does not know our Nationalm Anthem.

Save on overhead by removing the entire comment system.
Commenting online only shields people who spew vile they wouldn't say in person. It's prone to bots and malicious actors alike. Give the trouble just getting rid of commenting in general seems like a decent choice.
Yahoo is a private company and as such its content and user comments DO NOT count as "free speech", Nor is Yahoo and it's affiliates responsible for that right.

Remove false and misleading comments that have been flagged
A recent Yahoo News article on a transgender prom quickly became a magnet for false, misleading, and harassing comments. Several of them have remained online long after they were flagged.
One comment, for example, clearly and falsely implies that prom participants celebrated grooming. According to the comment, participants danced to two specific songs about the abusive practice. Those songs do not exist. Instead, the titles are alterations based on songs about completely different topics.
Grooming is a way to facilitate the sexual abuse of children by adults, as explained by David Finkelhor, director of the Crimes against Children Research Center.…

I think Yahoo News should remove the comments option. It's a cesspool of ****.
The Yahoo News articles are fine. The comment section is vile and full of mis/disinformation and hate. You would do well to disable/remove this part of your site. Keeping it as it is--even with "community guidelines"--does absolutely nothing of worth, and simply invites trolls, fascists, liars, and scum.

where are the comments on news articles?
What has happened to the comments on current news articles. Many are intelligent, interesting, call out poor grammar, inadequate reporting and blatant editorializing as an unbiased substitute for facts, add to the story, correct the story, and balance yahoos obvious tilt on news presentation. The news is much more meaningful and worth reading with input from readers who are paying attention. Thank you, Paul.

Stop demeaning articles about what women are wearing
Is this 1930? 1940? 1950? 1970? No. The multitude of articles about what women are wearing is so demeaning and misogynistic it makes my head spin. How about reporting on their accomplishments or latest projects? I'm guessing it's men who write these articles and male editors who approve them? Give them all some gender equality training, or get rid of them. Seriously, this is 2023. Get educated and grow up.
