first off yahoo USED to be one of my top NEWS page to go to. But now it seem like yahoo is just a new REDIRECTOR
yahoo no longer seems to be a REAL valid source for new and world news. now it seems like every story that is posted only has a short snip of the article and then you have to be REDIRECTED to another site (the REAL site who posted the info first example CNN or forbs places like that). when there is an article that is on the main site it tends to be short, pointless, and most of the time its complete pointless and does not offer any real information. yahoo has turned into just a lame pointless site that is just redirecting people to other web sites and just collection the money off of the Ads. the iPhone app sucks and hardly works correctly. yahoo as a website i feel has become a worthless POS site that no longer has any point to be on the internet. i will be looking for my news and similar information on other websites and no longer will be using yahoo. its the excatly the same thing that happen to the search engine witch used to be a very good and worked very well. now its nothing but ads and the information that it pulls up is ****, worthless, and seem like yahoo is slectivly sending people to websites that will pay yahoo the most money regardless of the quality of the information. the best way to sum it up is that yahoo as a search engine sold out years ago and became worthless and useless. then i started using the news side because it USED to be done correctly but once again YAHOO as SOLD out and its almost like they are trying to just get web hits and just redirecting people to other website instead of correctly providing the information. also 95% of the REDIRECTED websites that users get sent to turn out to be full of ads and take for ever just to get to the article because of so many ads. yahoo as SOLD out and becoming just a middle man website that has no future being on the internet and will become obsolete VERY VERY soon if it continues to SELL OUT and only care about collection the most web traffic with out even being a real site almost while no longer hosting anything and sending people to other sites so yahoo can be cheap and spend less on hosting the information. if it keeps going down this road i will no longer use yahoo and make sure to inform everyone possible of a new site that is a TRUE news site not just a sell out POS web site re-director. yahoo was once one of the top sites on the net and now its becoming a POS site that needs to be shut down.
