No free internet news. I am more and more frequently blocked by the providers which Yahoo!! chooses to plaster my page. I want control.
The internet used to be a source of free ideas and information. More and more frequently now, I find myself blocked from viewing sights because I use AD BLOCK . . . They refuse to acknowledge how many different advertisers will throw up pop-ups on your page or hi-jack your page until their ads load and begin playing before you get to view your intended content. I grew tired and extremely frustrated at having to close 5-6 pop-up windows per page I visited. NOW this pages often DO NOT let you view their content unless you close AD BLOCK or pay them for ad free content (which is not really ad free). LET ME CHOOSE the sites shown on my page so I can filter out websites that block you because of AD BLOCK.
