"Hi all The other element to tomorrow’s Budget coverage that I did not mention in my earlier email is that I am in training from 9.30 until 1.30. I will be able to pick up coverage when I get back, but while I am absent this is an outline of how we should plan to function. LIVE BLOG Louise is running the live blog for Storyful and will be on Slack. If there are any problems in advance of that, please contact Kevin on XXXXXXXXXXXX Caithlin - will supply the Scribble embed code first thing. Stuart H - set up the article for the live blog to be up and running at 11am Chris - liaise with Louise at Storyful in the morning via Slack. I have briefed her news editor as to how we want the blog run. Matilda - responsible for making sure the headline and copy in the article accompanying the live blog is up to date (the key moments for this will be 11am and 12.30pm) Pete - place the live blog in Tier 2 at 11am Pete - Put the Live Blog in Tier 1 at 12.15pm until I return, which should be at around 1.45pm Standalone content Chris - please liaise with Mark Dorman over what he should cover in addition to his 2 planned articles (see previous email) Front Page The most important thing is that we get a ‘news’ headline on the Front Page that talks to the Budget live blog asap. For example The first headline at 11am should be something like: LIVE: Follow our coverage of the penultimate Budget before Brexit Then at 12.30pm, as soon as Hammond starts speaking, we should be looking to move that Front Page headline along EG LIVE: Hammond announces surprise plan that will hit pensions Or whatever it may be Pete - this is your responsibility, but please liaise with Chris and Mark as to the best line to take"
