Remove comments section
You've lost control of your comments section - it's packed with obviously automated bots spewing political slogans everywhere. Slogans which just so happen to be nearly identical to the drivel groups like the Russians spew all over Twitter. Whatever anti-bot safeguards you have in place, they are completely inadequate.
Once you consider how little the comments section adds to the experience - except, I suppose, as a source of propaganda that can be made to appear as if it comes from a variety of humans who perfectly agree with you - the obvious move seems to be simply getting rid of it.

Think of it in this way: you and I are not a BOT. They silenced you and I. No better than censorship.

One could argue that the people who proposed this are the trolls and probably are not real humans. Who could possibly make an argument for not allowing people to speak freely and allow other adults to make up their own minds? If you don't like the comments, don't read them. No one is forcing you to. Cancel culture at its finest, where do you draw the line? What point will it take for you to realize this is the wrong way to be. They had a cancel culture in Germany in the 30s, where did that lead them. Debate and open dialogue are good things.

I wholeheartedly agree with Charles and John Swain; I quite simply can not express my view nearly as articulately as they already have.
One small addition though, it has gotten to the point that I am going to stop reading any of your so called "News" and especially any of your "Comments."
I can easily get my news from legitimate websites.
