For many years, Yahoo would kinda hide the ability to move back to older versions but if you searched, you could usually find a link to go back. Now, they have really taken that ability out of the equation. The problem is, software developers need to keep changing stuff to show their necessity for existence. I don't mind that they want to have advanced versions, just DO NOT force me to change. I hate yahoo and I tell people at the bottom of many of my messages, "do not use Yahoo mail as your message system.... it stinks." I think we need to relay the message to others.

POSSIBLE WAY TO GET BACK CLASSIC try this, it DOES work for me
1) Open and log into sh*tty new Yahoo email if you aren't already
2) Copy this text: https://mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch?action=mails
3) Open a new Chrome browser window while keeping sh*tty one open
4) Paste the text into new brower window
5) Close sh*tty new yahoo browser window
6) if it worked, BOOKMARK copied link in new window
7) Raise middle finger of victory and KEEP SENDING YAHOO YOUR SENTIMENT8) please DON'T comment further on this thread; keep this info sitting here at the top for others. But please DO keep sending yahoo your sentiment directly; i can pretty much guarantee you they are NOT listening to anything we say here.

Please return my email to the older format. If I had wanted this new format, I would have changed it one of the 100 times Yahoo suggested it.

Horrible. I've used Yahoo as my primary email for a very long time...20+ years? This new format is so bad it's insulting. Give us our email back or I'm sure many of us will be switching.

The classic version I used for Yahoo e-mail was better. Let me count the ways...
1) Less padding.
2) Offered more customization.
3) More intuitive user interface.
4) I'd say less intrusive advertising, but since I use an adblocker... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯But seriously, Yahoo, why do you have to keep repeating over and over the equivalent of Coca-Cola's New Coke fiasco?
