WHYYYY did you take the comment sections away for each article? That was one of the best things about Yahoo! Switching to a different app.
Put back the comment sections!

Bring it back. Right now all Yahoo reporters do is give their loony toon lib opinions and call it news. SMH. That rainbow colored hair dye is starting to get to your brains.

Verizon/Yahoo make their money threw clicks on their content , so now that the did away with comments I will not click on any of their articles and deprive them of a pay check . Anyone reading this should do the same .

So terribly written and edited articles, posing as journalism, are okay? BUT, a few disagreeable comments from random haters are what Yahoo focuses on?

The Yahoo News articles are not worth reading without having a comment section attached to each article.

Yahoo is democratic led web browser now, no longer neutral based.

Don't bring back comments section. Instead, go to Foxnews.com to freely join the lively discussion. Foxnews has an easy login, ability to like/dislike comments, follow commenters. Even easier, just go to settings and add foxnews.com to your list of start pages. Apparently, Foxnews is not afraid of constructive feedback on stories, lively discussion, humorous snarky comments, and enlightening banter.

I have had a Yahoo Account for as long as I can remember, Even after everyone I know has abandoned this site for Gmail and google, I stayed and have been a loyal supporter and spent thousands of hours browsing this site. I am Extremely disappointed with Yahoo's decision to halt the comment section and believe it to be the single worst decision ever made by yahoo! It is clearly an attempt to silence your viewerships speech! I have read opinion piece after opinion piece on this site that was passed off as "fair and balanced news", and It was only after being able to read the overwhelming comments by others who seemed to absolutely not see things the same way that it had just been reported as fact that my faith in humanity was restored! Hate is hate! I rarely saw anyone this site who would tolerate truly nasty and indecent comments. if someone was truly being hateful, their comments were quickly flagged as inappropriate and weren't tolerated by the overwhelming majority of yahoo patrons regardless of their views. Anyone who has got to the point where they can only tolerate a person who sees things the same way they do has really got some problems to work through. Freedom of speech is one of the most basic rights! I can't help but feel that Yahoo's decision to suspend the comment sections after articles violates this most basic fundamental freedom! It goes completely against our hard fought freedom and all those who value the freedom of speech! Penalizing everyone based off the notion that not allowing anyone to comment somehow protects others is very suspicious argument. Blocking out EVERYONE before they have even said anything is not only wrong! But it doesn't make any sense! That is unless it's not the real reason that the comment section was blocked. You will never convince me that this is anything other than an organized attempt to silence anyone who might have a point of view that is contrary to views of the editors and writers working at Yahoo! It's sad really! Now I'm going to have to finally follow the rest of the people I know that have abandoned Yahoo years ago. Seriously yahoo, what a stupid decision! You should be ashamed for blocking the viewpoints of all of your viewership especially making the argument that its in place to protect others and somehow makes this a safer place. We all know you have the technology to block people who are actually abusive and dangerous. Why not just block people who threatening others instead of taking away a basic civil liberty. Your motives are so transparent that it really makes me seriously question those who make the decisions at this company! BAD MOVE YAHOO!

With the writers you use and their personal agendas we are often not getting the true story but a purposefully misleading article to push the writers opinion. With the comments, oftentimes commenters would give links to the full story which most often differs greatly from that of the Yahoo writer. I believe that is why Yahoo removed the comments section in the first place; so that Yahoo could push their own propaganda without anyone being able to question it or prove it wrong. I've had enough of your lopsided news reporting. Better to do without than be brainwashed by a news source with nothing but their own agenda to push.

It's not only the conservative voices Yahoo has silenced folks. All of us had enjoyed sharing our 2 cents on here. I hope Yahoo restores it to all of us soon. It's hard enough in these times to have to wear a mask and live sequestered like a monk so being gagged certainly sux, especially now during these times when all of us would like to be able to participate in the discussion as to where our country is going.

The diversity of news comments is the sole strength Yahoo! News has above competing news carriers. I tolerate autoplaying videos and ads only for the comments community. We may disagree on everything under the sun and we may endlessly squabble, but we ARE a community and we LOVE it!
Now, please return the comments section and let us get on with our bickering.

Yahoo lies in their articles. Ordinary citizens have the capability to "correct" Yahoo. Yahoo is cowardly by not listening to others' comments.
