I question whether you are a nurse or where it is that you're nursing, because it is totally false and harmful to characterize covid as "no longer news". The surges attributed to the latest variant have been serious, with increases in hospitalization and/or deaths in many areas including major metro areas. Even a significant number of children have been diagnosed, took very ill and sometimes died. Only in the last week or so has a vaccine for children been approved for those under 5; are you suggesting that isn't important news? Your attempt to diminish this ongoing pandemic and demand that news about it be stopped tells me that you're an irresponsible person and unfit to be in the nursing profession.

Nearly a million dead,dying and still being infected by COVID in the US. Plus, you're not the CDC or WHO. Which uses data determining we're all still at risk from COVID 19.

Where I live, covid appears to be spiking again after so many people traveled for Spring Break. While I agree there are way to many stories about nothing on Yahoo, a few stories on covid when there is actually something to report would be okay.
