I want the old format back also! This new format is absolutely awful, it looks like a child designed it and serves no purpose. It most certainly isn't an improvement. The classic email was simple and clean - please let us get it back.

I hope Yahoo stock price goes to 0. How do I get the old/classic email format back? It's simple, if you don't give the option for getting the old classic email format back, then I'm done with Yahoo (including News, Finance, etc.) The person(s) who came up with the idea that this new look/format should be fired without retirement or unemployment benefits.

1) Open and log into sh*tty new Yahoo email if you aren't already
2) Copy this text: https://mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch?action=mails
3) Open a new Chrome browser window while keeping sh*tty one open
4) Paste the text into new brower window
5) Close sh*tty new yahoo browser window
6) if it worked, BOOKMARK copied link in new window (this is important as it will become your goto-button everytime you log in to get back to Classic)
7) Raise middle finger of victory and KEEP SENDING YAHOO YOUR SENTIMENT

the new format sucks. what sucks even worse is that all of the "help" threads out there don't help as I don't have the options they talk about in my toolbar or when I click on the gear thinger. WTF??????

Please allow us to go back to the classic email format. My father and grandfather cannot even used cached entries to write an email. it is awful what you have done.
I have been using Yahoo mail since 1997 and have yahoo mail pro. If you do not fix this within 2 weeks, I will be leaving yahoo mail and going to gmail.

The new style is too hard to read and there are too few options for customizing the look. Also, the ads being inserted into the email list are annoying. I liked the banner ads better. They were more visually appealing and less distracting. Bring back the old format!!!

I despise the new format! I want the old format back. This is so hard to use. I may start using my other e mails. That would be a shame since I have had this same one since 1999 or so.
