Maybe give the edit comment a time limit. I've seen that done and gives me a chance to correct stupid typos or poorly worded comments after I hit enter and realized that I just misspelled kat.

Of course you have to be able to post comments first. With the format change last week I can't even read my comments let alone edit them.

Oh yes, I have to delete and re post, but I can't just edit. But editing your comment s useless since yahoo has removed the ability to locate comments via the "my comment" link and the list of new replies and thumbs up

Where is our right to reply?

How long is this going to be "To Be Voted?" When are you going to DO IT?

I too have posted something and then seen some typos missed that make the post look bad. Or worse, when the battery of my keyboard is low and letters and words literally don't transfer to the computer. (I am an old guy who has to look at the key board to type).
It would be nice to be able to fix errors.
However I would limit the ability to edit so that once someone replies, the poster cannot change what they originally wrote. TOO, too many trolls out there that would love to play that game.

"cub," that's what trolls do. People who genuinely want to have adult conversations wouldn't do that. I would merely like to be able to correct my typos or poorly written comments.

"My Options," that is a different problem. You'll have better luck getting attention if you post it as a new request.

I deleted 2 years of my comments, included comments to my comments when deleting. I have 4 comments made by someone else in my comments I can't get rid of. And how is it when I delete my RECENT comments that Yahoo is still notifying me that I have "new thumbs up" and or "new replies" to a comment I have deleted? Why is it I cannot find the option to SHUT OFF NOTIFICATIONS anywhere in the Yahoo "help" pages? I am truly sick of these stupid notifications especially when I have deleted the comment completely. I have no issues with these notifications for months and then Yahoo did something recently where they are coming up all the time and it is very annoying especially when I have deleted the comment. Fix it!!! Give me where to shut this notifications off?

That is a good idea. I can post something that would get a lot of thumb ups, and then I would replace the text with something that would get a lot of thumb downs.

I believe we used to have this ability, but Yahoo has made a string of bad design decisions over the past 2 years.
