Playoffs - Two week playoff matchups.
This feature would allow commissioners to implement 2 week long playoff matchups for their league. For example, in a 4 team playoff, the first round of the playoffs would run for weeks 14 and 15 and then the Championship would be weeks 16 and 17. Currently, this feature is not available to commissioners.

I play in numerous Yahoo leagues but I have a group of friends that play ESPN fantasy so I'm there too. I like Yahoo A LOT better but ESPN offers the ability to have 2 week fantasy playoffs in head-to-head formats. I think that would be great for fantasy baseball, hockey and basketball. I hope it becomes an option because as much as I like Yahoo fantasy, 2 week playoffs are almost a deal breaker now since some of my Yahoo friends found out about ESPN. I feel like 2 week playoff weeks are very fair and the better team overall is likely to have a stronger chance to win across 2 weeks than over just 1. Thank you for listening to this idea, although it's probably been mentioned before. :)

In our head-to-head category league, we'd REALLY like the option to make our championship matchup two weeks long. Two weeks would make things much more fair in terms of number of starts, etc.

For fantasy baseball leagues that have weekly lineup changes, the single week playoffs doesn’t work well with uneven double starts for pitchers. It would be beneficial if commissioners were able to setup 2 week playoff matchups (ex quarterfinals w19-20, semifinals w21-22, finals w23-24.

yes please. In a three round playoffs I would love the first week to be a 1 week wildcard with top 2 seeds getting a bye and then round 2 be two weeks and championship be 2 weeks.

I dont understand why this is being ignored.... Championship week should have a 2 week option just like you do in hockey. Why cant you just add it in?

I’m hoping this is the chat to have playoff rounds added for private rotisserie leagues. Would be nice if teams at the bottom of a rotisserie pool had something to play for as anything can happen in the final 3 weeks of a season depending on matchups.

This should be the number one ranked item that you allow commissioners to implement. It is ridiculous that it is not available to us in private leagues, when it is already in place in other Yahoo public paid leagues.
Example: I am currently in a paid public prize hockey league and the final that you guys set by default runs from April 8-18, so clearly, extending the playoffs more than one week is a setting that is already available. Please make it available to all those of us who use your site yearly for our fantasy fix...thank you!

Don’t Penalize Leagues That Draft in Time for Official Opening Day.
Including the equivalent of 2 exhibition games being played in Korea Mar 20 and Mar 21 a full week before MLB's Official Opening Day of Thursday March 28 is truly stupid AND idiotic! It means Yahoo will lock out all serious leagues for an additional 2 weeks before their week 1 matchups begin. It means Yahoo will lock out all leagues who purposely draft early enough (like Sunday March 24) to include MLB's Official Opening Day and official partial first week. Who makes such decisions — include 2 Exhibition Games, really? All while penalizing thousands of leagues that always plan to draft in time to include Opening Day, not 2 silly games an entire week before!
This decision is INCONSIDERATE and no one will respond appropriately to this because in today’s world everyone under 50 hides behind the internet because accountability and consideration are just to hard and require genuine Social Skills.

Hello! Long time player, first time tweeter. Is there any chance players are asking for the option to return for a 2 week fantasy baseball championship? Please don’t let my league of 15 years crumble over a quick fix. Please let me know what the plan is to approve the ability for leagues to have two week baseball championships 🤝🏽

Would love to have this for the regular season as well! It would help prevent users from streaming pitchers who have two start weeks. It would also help with people getting lucky some weeks because they have more pitchers going that week than the other team which is awful not only in the playoffs but also the regular season.

Allowing match ups to span two weeks rather than one. This would be a solve to account for how much variability there is week to week given load management and schedule randomness.

In fantasy baseball, specifically, I'd LOVE to be able to have different length matchups for the playoffs. In my league now, the top 2 teams have byes, effectively creating a wild card round. I would love to be able to make that first round of playoff matchups 1 week and then the semi-finals and finals each be 2 weeks. Baseball is a random enough game and giving managers a little extra time for the better team to win out just makes sense.

Also the ability to give the bye to #1 seed- at least that can be manipulated. The two week final used to be an option- I remember it in our first year 2003! After 6 long months of competition, a 2 week final lowers the chance of one bad pitching outing, injury, etc. to have as much of an effect.

Playoffs - 7 Team Playoff Format.
This playoff format would allow for 7 teams. The number 1 seed would receive a bye week in the first week of the three week post-season. Currently, this is not an option for playoff formats.
