1. Allowing leagues to adjust pickup start time

   Hi! I’ve been using yahoo for a long time and really love your app! Very easy to use as commissioner!

   One thing that would really help and other apps are starting to do this, is to allow leagues to set their own time for when players can be picked up that day.
   Starting pickups at 3am is very difficult for most of my league, and if there was an option to start it at 8am for example that would cause a lot less arguments with my wife for setting an alarm at 2:58 am to pickup a player.

2. Please do not get rid of the IL+ option.

   Managing injuries and load management in fantasy basketball will be a nightmare without the IL+ option. Please continue to make it available to commissioners to utilize. If you take it away I may quit my league in yahoo after this season. I have been running my league for 25 years. Thank you

   As a result, we can only move the player who is designated as "INJ" status to IL slot. But, currently, injured players is still marked to "Out".
   Therefore, in a league where the draft has been completed, players cannot be properly moved to the IL slot.

   Kristaps Porziņģis is currently listed as Questionable (Q) in Yahoo Fantasy Basketball, but the Golden State Warriors officially announced that he is OUT INDEFINITELY due to a health issue. This has also been repeatedly confirmed by Warriors personnel and beat reporters, with no timetable for his return.

   Please update his Yahoo Fantasy designation from Questionable (Q) to Out (O) so that he is eligible for the IL slot.

   Our fantasy basketball league plays weekly head-to-head matchups with daily lineups and a limit of two player pickups per week.

   We want an optional feature that automatically sets the best projected daily lineup using only players already on each team’s roster. It should start players with scheduled games, respect position eligibility and game locks, and recheck injury/rest status before tipoff to replace unavailable starters with eligible bench players.

   Managers would still control pickups, drops, trades, and IR moves. We want to reduce daily lineup maintenance while keeping our existing scoring format.

   Does your platform currently support this? If so, how do we enable it, and is it free or a premium feature? If not, please consider this a feature request. Load management and last-minute absences are making our league less enjoyable.

You can also choose to use either tool to automatically set your lineup in a single league, or all eligible leagues for that sport. 6. Nba fantasy last update

   We've been playing this game as a group of 18 for 8 years, and the version shown in the attached screenshot was much more user-friendly.

   Every single one of us feels that with the latest update, the area showing player stats has gotten smaller, while player photos and name font sizes have gotten bigger.

   Please give us a way to use previous versions as an in-app theme. We'd gladly pay for it, and I know 50 people who would too. Please consider this and help us enjoy the game even more.

   On iPhone, the Matchup icon suddenly moved from the bottom row center to the top, which really disrupts the habits we've built while playing. We kindly ask that you fix this for us.

7. Mock Drafts - Auction Drafts - People Leaving Draft - Nomination Time

   For mock Auction drafts, this related to situations when an actual person leaves the draft. If the person's next turn goes through (i.e. uses up) the entire nomination and bid time, they should be set to auto draft AND their nomination time should be set to instant (i.e. zero seconds) or 5 seconds max (instead of going through the entire nomination countdown for some who has permanently left the draft).

   This is assuming they do not return to the draft (hence, the waiting for that person's next turn to go through the one entire cycle). This would help to speed up the mock draft times.

   For mock Auction drafts, this related to situations when an actual person leaves the draft. If the person's next turn goes through (i.e. uses up) the entire nomination and bid time, they should be set to auto draft AND their nomination time should be set to instant (i.e. zero seconds) or 5 seconds max (instead of going through the entire nomination countdown for some who has permanently left the draft).

9. Waiver Wire

   Waiver wire ranking doesn't make sense. Pre-season a team that has already had 3 pickups, yet they are is #3. They are tied with one other team for the most pickups in the league. Why aren't they ranked 11 or 12?

13. BRING BACK IL+ Roster spots for fantasy basketball

    Please bring back IL+ roster spots, at least as an optional commissioner setting for private leagues. Last season IL+ was essential for our 12-team league. With real injuries plus NBA load management (players sitting with soreness and rest days), the flexible IL+ spot kept roster management fair. Now only Out / Out-for-Season players are IL-eligible, so managers must burn bench spots or drop day-to-day players. Removing IL+ punishes everyone and makes the game less fun.

    Subject: Restore IL+ in Yahoo Fantasy Basketball
    I am writing to strongly object to Yahoo’s decision to remove the IL+ designation from Fantasy Basketball.
    IL+ served an important purpose in fantasy basketball: it allowed managers to manage the uncertainty surrounding NBA injuries, rest, and late game-time decisions without being forced to drop a player simply because his status had not yet officially changed to “Out.”
    The problem with the current system is that NBA injury designations frequently remain GTD, Questionable, or Probable until shortly before tipoff. A player can be listed as GTD all day, ultimately be ruled out, and yet Yahoo prevents that player from being placed in an IL position beforehand.
    This creates a significant roster-management problem:
    A player is listed as GTD/Questionable.
    I don't know whether he will play until shortly before the game.
    I cannot place him in IL+ because the designation has been removed.
    I therefore cannot add a replacement player without dropping another player or using a valuable bench spot.
    If my player is ultimately ruled out, I have lost the opportunity to make a legitimate replacement move.
    That isn't simply an inconvenience. It changes the strategy and competitive balance of fantasy basketball.
    The purpose of IL+ was to recognize the reality of fantasy sports: managers often have to make roster decisions before official injury decisions are finalized. Removing IL+ effectively penalizes managers for circumstances that are completely outside their control.
    I also find the change particularly frustrating because Yahoo has historically offered similar injury-management functionality in other fantasy sports. If Yahoo recognizes that managers need flexibility when dealing with uncertain player availability in other fantasy formats, it is difficult to understand why Fantasy Basketball managers should lose that functionality when the NBA has some of the most frequent late injury, rest, and availability decisions of any major sport.
    I am not asking Yahoo to give managers an unfair advantage. IL+ actually creates a more reasonable and realistic way to manage uncertain player availability. Managers still have to decide whether to use the roster spot, and there is always a risk that the player ultimately plays. That is part of fantasy sports strategy.
    I strongly encourage Yahoo to restore IL+ in Fantasy Basketball, or introduce an equivalent roster designation that allows managers to temporarily move players with GTD/Questionable/Probable designations into an injury slot.
    At minimum, Yahoo should explain why this functionality was removed from Fantasy Basketball and why the platform believes the current system provides a better fantasy experience.
    Fantasy basketball is supposed to reward managers for making good decisions and managing uncertainty. The removal of IL+ makes that significantly more difficult and, in my view, unnecessarily disadvantages managers dealing with legitimate NBA injury uncertainty.
    Please reconsider this change and restore IL+ for Fantasy Basketball.

15. Please change the layout of the table on the player list page

    On the player page, it's super inconvenient to have to scroll down to the horizontal scroll bar and use it to view hidden categories. The names are not frozen so i dont even know whose stats im looking at. The web page has plenty of room to display all the categories. Thanks!

    Please allow custom leagues to use SG/SF and PF/C Flex Positions as roster options if they want to. Specifically these exact flex positions. This is the 9th year in a row I have asked for this feature that every other fantasy platform provides. Please honor your loyal customers by implementing this option for commissioners of custom leagues.

17. If you're going to make changes that affect every team, at least announce them and explain how they work.

    Removing IL+ without explaining it will lose you a lot of customers. Communication is important and explaining the changes doesn't take much.

18. Improvement in drafts

    When you're drafting in Yahoo Fantasy Basketball, marking a player in the queue is pointless if you then make them disappear with the Draft button.

20. Starting playoffs 2 weeks earlier

    I’d like to submit a formal suggestion regarding the default playoff schedule for Yahoo Fantasy Basketball paid public leagues.

    I strongly recommend moving the default fantasy basketball playoffs approximately two weeks earlier in the NBA season.

    The current schedule places the fantasy playoffs very late in the NBA regular season, when player availability becomes increasingly unpredictable.

    During the final weeks of the NBA regular season, fantasy managers frequently have to deal with factors such as:

    • Players receiving rest days
    • Teams managing workloads and minutes
    • Stars being held out of games
    • Injuries and precautionary absences
    • Teams changing rotations
    • Young players receiving increased playing time
    • Teams with different competitive incentives late in the season

    This creates a particularly difficult situation in head-to-head fantasy leagues because the outcome of a playoff matchup can be heavily affected by late-season player availability rather than the roster a manager built and managed throughout the season.

    I believe moving the default public-league playoffs approximately two weeks earlier would provide a more consistent fantasy environment while still allowing private leagues and commissioners to customize their playoff schedules if they want to use the current format.

    I hope Yahoo Fantasy will consider this change for future seasons. As I know most people would agree with this.
