Rosters - Position eligibility requests 2025-26

Position eligibility requests for the 2025-26 season.

We will continue evaluating players for new positions going forward and make updates where appropriate.

As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players who haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them, and you won't be able to assign Forwards or Defensemen with Goalie eligibility and vice versa.     Matt Barzal needs to be made C,RW. How can you run a hockey league and not be current with the sport? This is why people go to other leagues. GET IT RIGHT AND PUT THE WORK IN

    Roope hintz has played at the RW position for more then 10 games this year and believe he should be considered for RW eligibility. Anton Lundell is currently playing as the panthers top LW and should be considered for LW eligibility soon if he continues to play there

    The following players have been very active on the RW, even playing full games there and should have the eligibility.

    Jared McCann C/LW (+RW)
    Roope Hintz C (+RW)
    Brayden Point C (+RW)
    Evander Kane LW (+RW)

    Matthew Barzal having RW eligibility with Bo Horvat now projected to center the line. Barzal has played wing several times this season, about 4x this past month alone

    Guys barzel literally been playing centre for 90 percent of games if you watched a game. that might change with bo horvat thier but for now he dosent line up like point at rw for the whole game. And be ready to wait for them to change point literally hasn’t lined up at centre for weeks unless the refs waive off stamkos out of the circle and yahoo still hasn’t updated his position

    Brayden Point should be a C/RW as morning puck has had him labeled as RW for a while now. Thanks

    Brayden Point should most definitely receive C/RW status. He’s been playing RW for several games now. We’re all missing out on a crucial C position on our roster when we could be appointing Point to a RW position on our lineups. Please please please take this into consideration!

    It’s important that we change position eligibility as players change position especially with money on the line go watch tampas last few games point is starting and ending games on rw barely taking 1 face off why is Steven stamkos centre\left wing and taking face offs and points is playing right wing and he’s slated as a centre only. https://themorningpuck.com/line-combinations/tampa-bay-lightning

    Hintz takes far fewer faceoffs per game than T. Thompson and even his own linemat Pavelski (both have RW), meaning that he is also lining up RW more often than those two.

    Hey guys, I’ve been noticing Brayden point play wing for days and his teammate stamkos centre why is stamkos a wing centre multi postition player and Brayden point isint ?

    Jared McCann has been playing RW on Seattle’s second line with Wennberg being the C and Donato being the LW.
