Rosters - Position eligibility requests 2025-26

Position eligibility requests for the 2025-26 season.

We will continue evaluating players for new positions going forward and make updates where appropriate.

As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players who haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them, and you won't be able to assign Forwards or Defensemen with Goalie eligibility and vice versa.     Hintz & Svechnikov are both playing (5on5) frequently as a RW.

    Chandler Stephenson should have LW eligibility added as he plays first line on LW with jack eichel on C. Listed on daily face off as well.

    Hintz should have RW eligibility, him and Pavelski seem to switch between C/RW throughout the games. Unreasonable that Pavelski has dual eligibility and Hintz doesn’t.

    Stop spamming $hit for positions, PP positions or some shady status somewhere that has been updated 3 years ago doesn't matter. See Dailyfaceoff or the game where they play, faceoffs don't count as a C position. These 1-2-3 random lists on LWL don't show who plays left and right.

    Dude what? PP positions don't matter in hockey. Granlund plays right wing and Carter left wing right now, that's a different thing.

    "!Leon Draisaitl has both Winger and Center eligibility, however he plays 99% of the time as a Center. As proof, he is amongst the league leaders in Faceoffs Won every year, impossible to achieve if you are not a full time Center. His eligibility as W cannot be justified and gives him an unreasonable advantage."

    Center eligibility doesn't come from taking faceoffs, it comes from playing center. A winger can take them too. Draisaitl plays every other shift next to McDavid at the end of games when trailing, hence his dual eligibility.
